  1. *** Topic moved from Progress Reports to Process & Procedures as the question is about the process ***
  2. A post has been removed for violation the following point of the TOS of Visa Journey: “Condone or instruct, either directly or indirectly, others on how to commit fraudulent or illegal immigration activities in any way, shape, manner or method.” Further such violations will result in administrative action including suspension. Topic has been moved to the IR1/CR1 spousal visa forum as that’s the only option for OP when it comes to being petitioned by a spouse. VJ Moderation
  3. Everyone goes through administrative processing, for some it takes quick and for others longer. As the CO said, it’s normal.
  4. Ancient thread closed. Please start your own thread instead of resurrecting old threads. VJ Moderation
  5. They’re Pretty much very close when it comes to the processing time; even if K1 is 2-3 months faster, that is not worth the drawbacks of the K1. And I’m one of those people. I did K1 and I do not recommend it. For CR1, at NVC stage after USCIS approval (roughly 12-14 months). For K1, at the interview, roughly 18+ months after filing No, she needs to have the job in place. Hypotheticals, no matter how convincing, are not going to work. Annual I think you’re talking about a petition, not a visa (USC files a petition which later allows the beneficiary to apply for a visa at a US consulate abroad). Petition placement is not location based and you can’t choose one. USCIS assigns it according to their internal system and reasons, not known to the public.
  6. *** Topic moved from Working & Traveling during US Immigration forum to US Immigration news & discussion ***
  7. Immigrant visa selection is correct for K1 on CEAC specifically. Please fill out your timeline so we can give a better answer. The answer depends on where you are in the process.
  8. Old thread closed to further comment.
  9. Old thread closed. OP hasn’t logged in since April and answer is unlikely. You can try to send a PM.
  10. *** Topic moved from Progress Reports to Process & Procedures *** Do not use highlighters or correction fluid or tape. The scanners we use will not properly read information that is greyed out, highlighted or corrected using correction fluid or tape. https://www.uscis.gov/forms/filing-guidance/tips-for-filing-forms-by-mail
  11. Zombie thread locked; OP hasn’t logged in over a year either. Please do not resurrect old threads; start a new thread instead and refrain from posting same question in multiple places. VJ Moderation
  12. I did answer - yes. They do endorse and admit new LPR’s just like at US POE. My point was that they have to since the flight comes as a domestic flight. There are no checks after landing. It’s a fully operational CBP just like in the US.
  13. *** Topic moved to General Immigration forum as the question is more general in nature *** Yes. When arriving after pre-clearance abroad, you would come as a domestic flight. You just grab your bags and walk out.
  14. It doesn’t say you need to. It says “you must show you have sufficient income OR financial resources”. It doesn’t say sufficient income AND financial resources. It says one or the other. it also says “evidence should consist of copies of ANY of the documents listed below that apply”. This tells me that bank statement are not required or needed if you choose to qualify using income.
  15. A continuation thread merged with the existing once since the same question was asked in the original thread. Please refrain from posting a question multiple times in different threads as they will be merged. VJ Moderation
  16. *** Topic moved from CR1/IR1 progress reports to Regional discussion: South Asia as the question is specific to Pakistan ***
  17. *** Topic moved from Progress Reports to Process & Procedures ***
  18. Another continuation thread related to the original thread merged. As instructed above, please refrain from starting multiple threads on related topics as that’s considered spamming and is a breach of the site’s terms of service. VJ Moderation
  19. *** Topic moved from Progress Reports section to Process & Procedures *** Yes, you can and you should. Don’t miss the interview. The decision will be postponed until they receive the results.
  20. Zombie thread closed. OP has not logged in for over two years. You could try to send a PM but reply is unlikely. VJ Moderation
  21. *** Topic moved from Process & Procedures to Progress Reports *** This is great news, congratulations! Your patience has paid off.
  22. It’s called an antibody titer test. Any regular doctor does it, perhaps start with your GP/primary care physician.
  23. @IWander is correct. We didn’t provide any information on assets/bank statements as we qualified solely on sufficient income that was well-above the poverty guidelines. We did this successfully for I-134 for K1 visa and then later I-864 for adjustment of status.
