  1. This ⬆️ it mentions several times that LPR’s are NOT subject to reverification and also states that under the Discrimination section. If a current employer is asking for new proof after you already presented a 2 year green card at hiring, politely tell them that they have no business asking you that and just provide the link to the USCIS manual: https://www.uscis.gov/book/export/html/59502
  2. *** Topic moved from Progress Reports to Process & Procedures *** Agreed with everyone above. It’s not a requirement or proof of bona fide marriage. Although I did change my name upon marriage (mostly because my maiden name is hard to pronounce as opposed to my husband’s last name), I know plenty of people who haven’t changed their names and went through immigration just fine.
  3. *** Topic moved from Bringing Family members of US citizens (other than spouse) forum to IR1/CR1 spousal visa forum *** tax returns are not a reflection of current income, they are a reflection of past income. It helps show you have held stable, continuous income but it’s not a requirement that they be above the 125% poverty level. Yes, employment verification letter and/or recent pay stubs. Yes, absolutely. Don’t lose valuable time
  4. I have removed a duplicate thread form yesterday that didn’t have replies as we do not allow duplicative threads. I hope you receive replies from fellow December 2023 filers for parents
  5. *** Topic moved from IR1/CR1 spousal visa forum (consular processing) to AOS work/tourist/student visas as this is AOS from a tourist visa case ***
  6. I’m not sure what process you’re in. You posted in the spousal visa forum but your profile says Adjustment of status. I moved your topic to the Adjustment of Status from Work/student/tourist visas. If it’s wrong, please let me know. I’m not a lawyer. But there is no such thing as “w2 transcript” from IRS. There is a tax return transcript on IRS website that you can download and submit to USCIS. Usually, If you’re submitting tax return transcripts, then you do not need to send W2s. If you send tax returns (full, all pages) then W2s are required. If your lawyer isn’t helping, perhaps you should fire him or her and find a different one.
  7. *** Topic moved from K1 Progress Reports to Regional discussion: Russia, Ukraine, Belarus for better answers ***
  8. *** Topic moved from K1 Progress Reports forum to Tourist Visa forum as the question is about tourist visa application ***
  9. This is what USCIS says in regards to receipt of NOA1. If you’ve met the criteria, you can contact the lockbox: https://www.dhs.gov/sites/default/files/2022-06/Tip Sheet - When to Contact a USCIS Lockbox_0.pdf
  10. *** Topic moved from Progress Reports to Process & Procedures *** Considering that your consulate is Casablanca, I’d definitely add the additional evidence (especially the trips) into the unsolicited evidence tab. It won’t hurt your case in any way and hopefully will help strengthen it.
  11. Thread closed in favor of an existing thread for the March 2023 CR1/IR1 group.
  12. You might want to look into Utah Zoom marriage. A lot of threads and members who had been approved through that. The availability of this option makes K1 much less practical and much more costly. And I did go through K1 in 2020 and I wholeheartedly recommend the spousal visa route. Unfortunately at that time Utah Zoom marriage didn’t exist, otherwise we’d go with that.
  13. Almost all I-129f are processed at California Service center with a small percentage going to Vermont (those cases that need an extra deep dive due to certain criminal background of the petitioner). Apart from those two, no other service center processes I-129F’s.
  14. It’ll say it on the NOA1 receipt notice.
  15. Above was merged with an existing thread on the next steps after sending off I-751. Please do not start multiple threads on same or closely related questions. If you attached the G-1145 form for an E notification, then on average 2-3 business days but it can also take longer or you might not receive a text. It’s not a guarantee and everyone’s case is different.
  16. Yes. And also because she just spent 5.5 months out of the 6 allowed in the US and is already trying to enter again.
  17. 2 business days. It fell over the weekend so I’m not counting those days
  18. It’s a little weird when it comes to IOE for AOS or even ROC down the line. There is no online filing on the USCIS website like with Naturalization or I-130 petition for example. Instead, you file by paper but some cases are then “transformed” into the online system and given IOE case. Supposedly it’s part of an effort to digitize as many forms as possible.
  19. That explains it. You don’t have an online case, only the ones with IOE letters get access codes and can see and upload documents online
  20. Does your case number start with IOE?
