    I don’t think they would be eligible for DCF as this is the beneficiary with a job transfer, not the petitioner I don’t see any cons, expedite request don’t affect the process in any way, even if it gets denied. I’d say give it a shot, it’s free to try.

    That’s a lot of assumptions and hypotheticals and perhaps you couldn’t find anything because nobody had this experience before. It sounds like you just have bite the bullet and go ahead and try to reschedule and see what happens. If you have to reschedule the second time, I imagine the Consulate will not be happy and will conclude you’re not that interested in the visa. Sounds like you’ll have to make some difficult choices and choose either the US route or the other job. Sometimes we can’t have it all

    I’m not a lawyer but I would withdraw the I-130 and include a short explanation. I-129f would be the underlying petition, not I-130. Shame about the fee though

    If he uses WhatsApp to communicate, then it doesn’t really matter what country’s phone number he has. He can also keep the WhatsApp number on his UK number while being on a US plan.
