No, you can’t change it through NVC and public inquiry anymore. Once the case leaves NVC, that’s not an option. Now you will have to contact the consulate you want to change to (Lithuania) and they will have to request the case from Germany. I would also inform Germany about this. Prepare for a several month long delay. This will not be fast process anymore.

  14. No, he won’t be issued a K1 visa without an approved I-601. I believe it’s taking around 2 years for I-601 processing.
  15. VJ timelines are more accurate as they are based on actual data inputted by users. USCIS progress tab on the other hand is a random number generator. 12-14 months is the average timeline for I-130 approval.

  18. Your husband will have to find a way to solve the financial sponsorship issue. He can ask a US citizen or lawful permanent resident friend or a relative to be a joint sponsor. You can’t use a non-immigrant visa to bypass the proper spousal visa process since your main objective is to reunite and live with your spouse in the US.
