Good day VJ,

I filed my AP and AOS on Mar 15 and my biometrics will be on the 20th this month. Now I checked my CEAC and confused if the "Ready" status are for my children that are FTJ .

I wanted to make sure that I know what i have to do before traveling back to PH when my AP is approve and attend my children's medical and interview. Do i have to call the US Embassy Manila to schedule an interview? idk the steps, sorry. If someone could share, I appreciate it.

Hi all. 

I filed my AOS packet(3/15/22) and on March 16, 2022(recieved in USCIS) and NOA1 the next day after 8 days recieved my USCIS NOA1 mail.

Now, my k1 visa will expire on Apr 9 and my husband will be on his weekly trip (semi driver) again in 2 weeks and wanted to bring me since ill be alone home, we travel together for a mos and a half since i arrived. Is there anything that I need to show as proof or documents to bring in case(God forbid) ask for my ID since my visa is expired in that period? Can i show them my NOA1 mail from USCIS? Thank you:)

I got Sputum on Oct 2021 and need to reschesule my interview. You can't proceed to the actual US consul interview without your medical. The pre interview will ask your documents and double check everything before they allow you to fingerprints and to the final stage.

1] Did you just didn't show up to your appointment schedule because of the sputum process? Or you called the US Embassy that you can't make it to your schedule?

2] When did you try calling the US Embassy that you needed a new schedule? Was it after you were cleared after two months?

3] Was it easy to get a new schedule at the Embassy since there is a race to meet the 3 month validity of your medical and had to get your interview, get the visa and leave for the US within the validity of the medical exam?

K1 process. 

1.I got sputum last Oct during my medical and Slec told me to contact/call or email the Embassy to reschedule. 

2. After slec told me that im under sputum i immediately emailed and the rescheduling of interview i did it on my own before i come back to get my medical result (after 2mos)

3. It's easy, I got mine reschedule 3weeks before the 2mos sputum wait (very lucky).

(rescheduled my interview)

• Dec 22 2021 (come back medical)

* March 17 2022 (slec told me i should leave the country)

• Dec 23 2021 (interview reschedule)

• Dec 27 2021 (CFO pre counseling)

• Jan 5, 2022 ( Visa on Hand & got my CFO cert)

• Jan 8 2022 (pcrtest test and result/negative)

• Jan 9 2022 (cebu to dubai)

• Jan 10 2022 (dubai to CHI /O'Hare POE )

My fiance just arrived from the Philippines yesterday..I'm using her account here. When does the 90 days begin exactly? Who's keeping track of when we're married? Who do we notify after we've complied with their rules and we're married within the 90 days? She was approved for her visa December 23 and received it January 6 but it's already going to expire on March 17. Why is it going to expire less than 3 months after being approved? Does her visa validity have anything to do with her medical? Will her visa validity dictate how soon we are to get married or is it still 90 days after... being approved, receiving her visa or arriving in America? Any accurate information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I have a question and im so confused. 

So yesterday the status went Administrative processing and an hour ago today it went Issued. 

Iam expecting my visa to arrive on Jan 6 2022 from Dec 23 because the consul told me to wait 2 weeks. Now the status went Issued, if the delivery will only in 7 days to visa on hand 2go will deliver i guess and if its in 2 weeks LBC will deliver. I don't know 🤷‍♀️ and my problem now if its a week or in 2 weeks because i have to change my delivery address 🤦‍♀️. 

Im from Cebu though, no electiricity, on and off signal.

Today I got the chance to schedule an Embassy Interview for my K1. There are few slots in different time gap. Now my question is my Sputum result will be in Dec 22 8:00am my concern is will SLEC immediately send my records after my Medical and will be ready for my Interview the next day?  im only worried because the next day Dec 23 will be my interview and fly back to Cebu after lunch. 

Does it have a duration like days before attending an interview after the result? I don't want to spend Christmas alone though.

For so many of us SLEC was a horrid experience. We went through Sputum Protocol twice and the USEM tried to send her a third time.  On the positive side as soon as we pointed out the mistakes she got her visa within a week.  Sounds like you have the right attitude, best wishes and enjoy the holidays.

Im sorry that happened in your process, I would be seriously piss if theyll do it twice like dang give me a break. Hopefully no delay or whatsoever, in cgi the earliest date is in Dec 16 hoping to get an interview on the 23th because going back and fort from Cebu Province is exhausting and costly.

Very unlikely and also pointless.  Even if they tell you the result a week early, they won't send the results to USEM until after the scheduled release date.  They cannot send the results to USEM early because if they did, it would be obvious to USEM from the sputum collection dates that SLEC did not follow CDC requirements for length of testing.  You will not get rescheduled for interview until USEM gets the medical exam results.

 

Tell your fiance that it would be next to impossible for you to be in the US by Jan 1.  In my case, I was notified of my expedited interview schedule 3 weeks after the release of my medical results.  My interview date was 3 weeks more after that.  And my case is IR1.

 

I mean its not my idea and wasn't thinking of doing it. He asked me and idk what to say because this whole Sputum thingy drained me i swear. And yes that makes sense if they send it right away it will be in trouble.

Im going to enjoy my holidays and make sure to travel  Manila brfore xmas🤦‍♀️😖.

Sputum protocol is followed very closely by SLEC due to contractual arrangement and with the mentality of "do for one do for others" highly unlikely.  On the up side since you are dealing with SLEC go ahead and request exemption.

I mean idc if that works to other but good for them and i have no plan of sending tons of emails though because im stress enough that im delayed. My concern is i wish they wont tell me to come back after the holiday because that is something I would be piss thinking I have to travel back and fort.

So in my last post Im under Sputum Oct 20,21 & 22 and has to come back Dec 22 which is very close to holidays, they told me (slec) they may extend my result date but i wish they wouldn't. 

So my fiancé (petitoner/us citizen) has a question that i dont even know the answer, he asked if its possible to ask Slec to give my result as early as possible? like 1week early of Dec 22? I dont even know how and what to answer and in my part i want to spend the entire week before Christmas at home with my children. 

He expect that if we wait til Dec 22, chances that they may extend sputum result so as the reschedule K1 interview, we're hopeful to spend the New Yr together but i dont think we can. 

oh a K1 applicant tild me that SLEC gave a K1 applicant before their result for a favor 1 or 2 weeka early since they need to travel from the Province and was granted. And a friend mentuoned that usually slec sputum results are done 3 weeks or 2 weeks before the actual date they asked u to come back. idk if its true.

Yes they can attend the visa interview anytime either with you or after you. Note that they need to enter US within 6 months from the medical not from the visa issue date.

Its likely their visa validity is tied in thier medical. Thank you

There is only the I-129F (K-1) petition.  Listing the children is required there, good that you had that covered.   THAT is all that is necessary for processing the K-2, there is not a separate petition.

 

If you are still planning to complete the Follow To Join (completed within 1 year of  the K-1 visa issuance) there is no reason for the children to attend.  If you plan for them to travel with you now, then yes, they must complete everything you are required to complete (few exceptions for age)

They're not going to travel with me yet but only assure visas, after what happen to my Medical (Sputum) I was worried sick if we filed for FTJ any thing might delay. I would like them to assure visas and i believe its only 6mos for them to stay here and my fiance and I will be back in Phi to get them (same time their virtual school ends), they aged 8, 6 and 5.

I wanted to know if its possible for my children to attend their Visa Interview though we only filed my K1 petition, theyre supposed to FTJ (FOLLOW TO JOIN)  when I recieved an email from the Embassy for my Interview date they sent me 2 emails ), 1st has my name on it and 2nd email has my name and my children's name though we never filed any for K2 but their name's was listed in I129f. 

Is it possible for them to attend if we pay the visa fee, fill up the ds160, do their medical. I was Sputum and my result will be in Dec 22 and i read few applicants recieved an email for their rescheduled date for visa interview from the embassy after completing their medical.

So yesterday was my Medical at St. Lukes, no sign of illness, no fever, no cough just plain excited and of course Im negative in swabtest. 

I was surprised when they told me that I need to do a Sputum Test, at first im confused because my last Medical July 2020 im good. 

So, 3 days collection and today was my 1st. I have a hard time coughing since I dont have like bad cough and I gagged the entire time trying to spit and if i drink cold and eat sweets  thats when l get cold cough. My spit (sorry) was clear and im so confused how they concluded i have "something" in my lungs. 🤦‍♀️ they should have concluded after 2x attempt of xray and not just " they saw a line, something" once,

Oh Lord JESUS. 

This whole sputum thing is the worst, need to reschedule my interview. If im done in 2mos waiting how long the Embassy can reschedule my interview?

They told me that its okay, like a follow up email since i mentioned my children in my I129f. Actually they are very helpful and working on completing my packet to bring in my interview and to my medical. They explained and im juat freaking out because i was confused.

As we prepare for our documents and packet for my coming interview i got an email from Embassy for the 2nd time that includes my children's name and they're supposed to join us in later date for follow to join. Is this normal?

hello, she didnt mention that its mandatory talaga when she asked me if klaro ko ba ang batch no. ng vaccine na nakalagay sa vaccine card she agreed sa akin na mas mabuti meron akong yellow card kasi ang vaccine card may erasure. Sa yellowcard kasi computerized and klaro ang mga info.
