expedited appointment po ba? last time po you mentioned wala na slots po, tumawag po kayo sa office? also about sa vaccine card na di computerized, di po ba kayo kumuha ng vaccine certificate from your local city health office? libre po kuha non

hindi po siya expedited, pwede siyang ma expedited kung last minute na you need to travel abroad mag email lang ng flight documents yon ang sabi sa fb page ng BoQ ng Cebu. Nong unang attempt ko to schedule an appointment is Cebu main office lang ang nakalagay pero Dec 1st week lang ang pinaka available, however nong nag post ang BoQ ng Cebu nga after 3hrs na merong satellite office in Robinsons Galleria-Cebu don na ako nag attempt 2nd time and nakakuha ako ng last week of Sept and meron silang slot sa whole month ng Oct. And sa vaxx cert kumuha din ako kasi mag aask ang online form ng yellowcard sa vaxx cert sa front and back pic as their requirement ng and wala pong bayad ang cert pero sa yellowcard is 300.00. Ang requirements kasi na e upload to get appointment ng BOQ is ID, PASS ID, VAXX CERT

hi just wanted to get back to this post, I've attended PDOS this morning and regarding yellow card the CFO personnel clarified to us that it is not mandatory to have, only for OFWS . But I am still a little confused since I have been seeing so many yt videos of travelers that have it in possession and are saying that it is needed

hello, i made an appointment to get the yellowcard as a formal document that iam fully vaccinated kasi yong vaccination card from the LGU Is not computerize and my name and other info their was all handwritten, hindi masyadong klaro ang pagkakasulat kasi maliit lang ang spaces nung card and no offense it looks informal lang siya sa akin. In wednesday na yong appointment ko po.

as of now po 2 sites lang meron sakin that have available slots sa October and November, the rest is January na ulit available, may I ask what location po Inyo? there was a post from last month sa embassy website saying you may now get your yellow card etc, then upon checking ulit it did not mention anything about yellow card unless you've taken your vaccine from outside ph that's why now its confusing to me

Cebu po, Central Visayas. Nag check ako Dec pa ang merong slot and 2nd check ko Nov pero nawala and back to Dec ulit. Opo e confusing, gusto ko sana makakuha kung needed talaga siya para smooth ang travel.

I've received my Visa a month ago and just completed my 2 doses of my vaccine. Is it mandatory to get the International certificate of vaccination or "yellow card"? ill be receiving my Vaccine Certificate from my local city health office by Friday and I've read online that I also need that yellow card to be able to fly out of the Philippines. I'm just stressing out because slots are being taken way too fast. Also is the orientation pre departure still a thing? so I can book an appointment

Hello same po tayo kasi gusto ko sana magpa schedule sa "yellow card" when i saw their website Dec pa may available. Same question if needed ba talaga siya kasi walang slot.

Well Pfizer is an even better choice if it's available to you.  I'm just guessing Janssen would become a default for folks who show up at SLEC for their medical and have no vaccination record.

Senior here majority got J&J (1dose only).

Not a requirement for entry but apparently becoming a requirement to pass the medical.

The scenario I could envision is that Janssen vaccine is one shot and "fully vaccinated", approved to be given at the same time as other vaccines, is available in the Philippines and could easily be stored in SLEC's fridge.  I could see Janssen vaccine becoming just another one of the ordinary vaccines for applicants who are unvaccinated.  Or any other vaccine if they got their card saying fully vaccinated by LGU.

    Oh thank you.

My vaccine today is Pfizer, made up my mind to do it now so no problem in the future.

    Godbless.

The article sounds like it will be required to apply. Not sure it's been made a requirement to enter.

    Thank you for your reply.

Yes that's I'm confused and I don't feel confident enough to do it today (vaccine) since the Medical facility (SLEC) don't really mandate applicants to be fully vaccinated before doing the Medical Exam.

  8. Good day,

So, in fb page i saw someone posted by Oct 1 2021 before entering the US you should be fully vaccinated. Is it true? does K1 applicant or K1 visa holder should be vaccinated to?

I stopped believing socmed post, im sorry.

I would be glad if someone could answer my question here. Thank you.

    Godbless.

  9. My fiancé called today and the lady told that the Embassy in manila is resuming but no specific date and they are doing another review for each cases and after that they will contact or send an email to applicants for their interview. And she checked our case that has been escalated and confirmed that its in line for another review and those expired cases is okay but many thought those expired cases will get an interview the lady said no because they follow the order of their timeline like when did they file and when it was approved.

Who did you receive the email from? Can you tell us who it was from so I can triple check my inbox. Our CEAC has been expired for a few months now and we were told it’s not an issue.

Maybe not an issue if its expire, its from the Manila Consular (Immigrant) Unit/autoreply.

  11. I recived an autoreply email this afternoon that if my CEAC status is expired i need to take a screenshot and email it to them.

My fiancé called this morning and its not really a big thing but the Consul was surprised to our status, my fiancé even asked when are they opened for normal routine schedule he said, "March 14/17" (the consul forgot when it started) and clarify that its the new update, he even asked when our petition approved and when will expire.

After that he told my fiancé he will escalate our petition and i got an email escalating our scheduling request.

I don't know if i should be happy or not but its like an update atleast they picked up the call.

This is wonderful advice and is very useful not just for the forum ;)

@BOKURAGAITA it's very sweet of your future MIL to offer help. Since we're all stuck waiting and you mentioned your fiancé has some anxiety issues, it may be worthwhile for her to help your fiancé - maybe in the form of being a sympathetic listener, helping him get treatment (?).

Much depends on his relationship with his mom, of course. You guys would know best what would be appropriate.

Thank you @Adventine yes she is a sweetheart very kind.

My fiancés history was a long time ago, for personal reason because of his past marriage he got a treatment and i didn't ask further about it since he is okay now, tho i know he dont like what is happening and the delays. He makes himself busy 😊,comunication nonstop is a big help. Life saver❤

The reason why he dont update his mom and family because he knows we are good and everything is okay, his family only wanted to make things fast and excited for the wedding. ❤

That was a very rude response.  Uncalled for.  Did you even read what she said?  Why take out your frustrations on her?

They started in 2019, on a K1, pre-Covid, and now her case is stuck in the K1 roadblock at the Embassy.  The American Citizen mother-in-law asked if she could help.  She did not ask her MIL for help.

I actually think the MIL could try to help.  It can't hurt if she writes her congressmen and senators.

Why is the U.S. not vaccinating their Embassy staff, expats and locals both?  Seems like a logical way to move forward and get back up to full speed.  How hard can it be to get 500 (guess) staff vaccinated?

Thank you and my MIL an active nurse and FIL work in Fed. Gov they really want to help and even my Fiance's bro thought they can call or write an email, its not bragging. They're concern about his depression and anxiety history, God forbid it happen again.

The whole delay makes it worst.

I emailed the Embassy and after 2 weeks no reply.

You are in the Philippines. It's your silly country that has imposed all the travel bans and quarantines and lock downs and curfews.

I suggest you start where you live, you contact your president, you contact your senators and do your own due diligence.  Don't look for someone else to take care of your business, it's your country that has shutdown.

Why look to others to solve your problems?

I recieved a response from the Office of the President 2 months ago and they're hands off.

Just so you know my and fiancé and i never update or give details to his parents because its our business. From the start and until now his family were very kind and sweet to help yet we refused, we refused since we know what were doing.

Look, you need to tell them to sit back and wait. Once embassy starts interviewing your fiancé will be scheduled/notified to schedule interview. Calling and emailing will get you the same answer - wait.

Iam the applicant and i understand why my in laws are asking me they wish they could help our case. No sign of anything, we are 2019 filers and until now nothing.

  16. Hi everyone.

I mentioned before that my future MIL (fiancés mom) wants to help and she sent me another message last night telling me, "I wish there was something i could do" but if she can do something, how? I don't know what to answer her honestly, maybe send an email? to who?

She asked how to start it, i dont even know🤦‍♀️.

I'm heartbroken you don't think so. The fact is she needed a negative Covid test to enter Cebu city.

you said she need to get a negative test to enter Cebu and shes from Toledo and Toledo is a City in Cebu province. You only quoted Cebu city that confused me, if you mean entering the city from the province then yes she needs a negative pcr test.
