    If I submit it on ceac will it reset the clock from when I sent in my FE for something else? Or do you think since docs are all accepted that they may just ask me to bring it to the interview ? (Which I will just in case)

    Yes that is what we did for all the previous years that were accepted. It’s just we let them know we had an extension which was approved. we recently just got back those taxes and just not sure if they need to be uploaded or not since my joint sponsors used hers. I’m afraid if I put it in now it will push her Date further , since I sent the FE for the civil document in 6 weeks ago

    Hi everyone, Does submitting additional documents reset the clock after an FE? Im not talking about the documents that the FE asks for, but additional info. For example, everything was accepted except one missing document. My husband only submitted his 2019,2019,2020 tax info, and a signed letter stating 2021 wasn't available yet as he requested an extension as he lived out of country. It was all accepted. However we do have a joint sponsor which submitted everything including 2021 which was accepted. Im afraid that once they new the FE evidence I submitted 5 weeks ago, that they will now ask for my husbands 2021 tax info. Or should we be okay since our joint sponsor had there's?

    Some people have been DQ over the weekends. I imagine when that happens maybe its agents that are working some OT to clear up on backlog

    Im coming in from NS too! I didn't know about Hep A, Im going to have to look into that. I don't have my childhood immunizations so my dr did a titer test on me. Im good to go on everything except hep b immunity was low, so I had to get a booster at Shoppers Drug Mart and the pharmacy did it. I kept the paper the pharmacist gave me as proof.

    For the most part people had to wait 75 days again. There have been a lucky few that got it right after. Nothing makes sense document wise etc

    Im so very sorry to hear all that you are struggling with. I struggled with a lot of that too 6 years ago when I was pregnant. Unfortunately, it needs to be a life / death medical emergency , depression and anxiety isn't seen as a reason to expedite in most cases. Hopefully you guys can figure out a way to visit.

    That’s amazing! So happy for you! Our submission was 4/11 and got FE June 23 for marriage certificate (prove step child/parent relationship) and resubmitted it and hour later. Still waiting. You just gave me some hope

    I just heard back from the consulate. They won’t schedule my interview for my ir1 until my daughters ir2 has been DQ (had to submit an FE at the end of June).

    Nope! Still sitting on “ready” at the consulate. I keep obsessively checking my email throughout the day these days

    So eager to see the next batch of ILs. My case changed to “Ready” last Tuesday and still no IL. Crossing my fingers it’s this next round of letters sent out from the consulate

    Hi everyone, My child is almost 17 and about to have her interview for ir2, she’s about to start her senior year of highschool. I’m trying to get a couple what if scenarios answered. Let’s say she gets her ir2 visa this fall, can she activate it at the border then come back upto Canada to resume the school year? Then go back to the US when she graduates in June? I’m not sure how the returning resident thing works and how long you can be out of the country without losing your GC.

    I think they must be having some issues. Mine has been saying “in transit” for 3 weeks now; while others were DQ and sent to MTL at the same time as me and theirs was only 2-3 days.

    Do most people get ds5535s if they have travelled out of Canada/US? I feel like it’s a common theme? I haven’t travelled anywhere other than the US and a vacation to Cuba a few months ago. My stomachs in knots if there’s any further delays

    Does anyone know when MTL typically sends out ILs? Are they all sent together? Been keeping an eye on the spreadsheet and see nothings been sent this month yet

    About 3 months after DQ. But by looking at timelines it looks like it’s slowly increasing 😔

    My quote with pods was $11,000 for two of their largest containers. From Nova Scotia to Atlanta with 1 month of storage fee

    They do! My quote is partially in CAD and some in USD due to that. They can give you a quote over the phone. They were the most cost effective option. Plus I like the fact I can have it parked in my driveway for a couple of months and slowly load it all.

    Im getting two large PODS. We have a 2300 sq ft house and a double garage to pack up lol
