  1. Looks like my DQ date and the email date abo it expedite to post was the same. But still shows in transit
  2. Okay. Thank you. Just read it. I got DQ 2.5 weeks ago. Three days later I got the email saying it was expedited to post , and since then the last 13 days it’s just said “in transit” I wasn’t sure if it said in transit for that long since I also got an FE for my daughter (but I was DQ)
  3. Don’t you just need a verbal confirmation that you have had chicken pox?
  4. You need to have your fingerprints done digitally, but the report needs to come back without the actual prints on them
  5. How long was the timeframe since nvc sent your case to MTL to when you got IL? Thought I’d ask since there’s not many that had an expedite
  6. Hi folks, Has anyone here that has recently been "in transit" from NVC to MTL remember how long it was "in transit for"? I know its something that's not really looked at , but thought maybe someone would have some insight.. Ive been in transit for almost 2 weeks now. And I don't know if that's because my IR2 is still at NVC waiting to be DQ.
  7. I honestly wouldn't do anything that may have a chance to jepordize my case, or create any further delays
  8. Most times it doesn’t. I submitted many additional docs and it didn’t push me back
  9. I’m so sorry for all of you going through this all. I just got DQ and case expedited to MTL. I’m terrified of getting this… how often does MTL hand these out?!? I can’t phantom having my kids and me away from my husband any longer
  10. Hi everyone! How long does it take for the consulate to receive from NVC? It’s been saying In Transit since June 29th. Just curious Just hoping it gets there before the next round of ILs come out (nvc didn’t schedule since it’s an expedite)
  11. We did this exact same thing in may. We had no problems. We let them know I was waiting for DQ. They asked where I work, and they saw I brought ALL my documents just in case. I also showed them that the kids and I were flying back home a week and a half later and they asked to see those. They said it was good to be prepared!
  12. We did a signed statement saying there is no w2 in Canada and included the Canadian version of it. It was accepted and I was DQ
  13. Nvc seems to be notorious for throwing back in the que. They say they have no supervisory review in place and one review line. I tried getting this done myself three different times but was told they don’t have a practice in place to expedite at nvc level
  14. I would imagine that's it. With the wet ink signature.
  15. Congratulations! Do you know why it was an 8 week wait?
  16. Seems like Interviews are about 3 months after DQ
  17. Thank you. I wasn’t sure how different the process was between nvc and the consulate scheduling it. I appreciate your quick reply!!
  18. I just got a new passport with my married last time. I have already been DQ with my old passport with my maiden name. Should I upload this on my ceac ? Or should I just bring the new one to the interview?
  19. How do those who have been expedited at NVC get their ILs and typically how long are they sent out? I had a conditional expedite approved that after DQ they would expedite my case to post. I got DQ last Friday, and this Wednesday they sent my case to post and it shows IN TRANSIT. How does one get their interview date/time ? By mail or email since it won't be coming from NVC?
  20. I checked and it says “In Transit”, so they definitely sent mine. No change on hers. I emailed the consulate asking for further clarification on what can be done now
  21. So as you all know, we got approved a conditional expedite In April that once DQ they’d send our cases to MTL for expedited processing. My daughter got an FE for one missing document Thursday, and Friday I myself got DQ. I emailed NVC to request expedite on my daughters case at nvc level so we can keep our cases together. I got a response saying they can not expedite at NVC level and that they would keep both cases at NVC until my daughter is also DQ. Now today I got an email with MY case number stating my case has been approved for expedited processing and they are sending it straight to the consulate. I wonder if they got our two cases mixed up and meant to send my daughters to the consulate? Our numbers are off by 1 digit. And of course, there is no one to call. I emailed NVC back and replied straight from their email asking if they meant my case or my daughters.
