AdrianSolorzano reacted to Dougefresh56 in Everyone call congressperson and demand K1 be critical
Stephen Miller and DJT. There is plenty of evidence supporting the USCIS being turned into a vetting agency. This was at DJT’s order. It bogged down the system so much that it caused the USCIS to go from a surplus to a negative operating cost and this was before covid

When DJT took office Uscis had a surplus of 800mil. Trumps policies created a shortfall plus extended wait times so yes he did.

I really hope you are joking. You do realize he practically doubled the cost of the Adjustment of Status right?

How do you say its offending? I did nothing to offend or Insult I just disagreed strongly with his point of view

Most of us doing a k1 would already be married if it wasnt for covid. So you can pretty much think of them as our spouse.

Look if you don't agree with the post fine. But don't sit there and tell us not to do something. So you mean to tell me a professional athlete should be able to get in but not my fiancée? I'm sick and tired of hearing CR-1 IR-1 people saying that our Visas don't matter. Go to another forum if you don't like it.
K Thanks 🤬

This feels like we're being trolled folks.
1) OP admits visa fraud
2) OP asks for advice
3) OP ignores all advice, argues with those giving it
Doesn't seem very genuine to me.

You are the reason why the immigration becomes harder and harder, there is no such help, it is fraud and I wish it will come back to you.

AdrianSolorzano reacted to Dr Paul in K1 after annulment in NY
I just received my annulment decree. I married a friend last year to help get her documents but I felt she didn't appreciate me and use to disrespect me so I decided to annul the marriage and bring my fiancee through K1 visa. Will the annulment affect my K1 application?

AdrianSolorzano reacted to Ad & Ga in Open US Embassies around the world for family sponsored immigrant visa interviews
I really wonder how you guys are dealing with everything. The nasty attitude and selfishness towards others problems around VJ is insane these days. I would never think that me sharing a link of some petition would create some negative reaction as it did. Adding facts and sharing information is absolutely necessary but there's a difference between complementing the narrative to support it and comment in a patronizing way. As i say this right now i see other topics with people talking about their own experiences with their embassies, talking about it being closed and not doing emergency interviews. I know that my embassy is 100% closed for 5 months and wont open until september (and as I said before, doesn't impact me because im not there yet) and this are people sharing their experience and others instead of empathize they come with a government link trying to force their truth (that everybody knows it's the theory, but not happening in reality). I always saw VJ as a support group with information from people going through the same hard time, supporting and informing, now it's just attacking without a real reason. When you say: YOUR CASE IS NOT AN EMERGENCY, or YOU JUST HAVE TO WAIT, that can break that person's mental health. Instead of saying something patronizing and rude, why not be quiet? Or try saying something nice?
realism is absolutely necessary but without a LITTLE hope and kindness people will be driven crazy.
also, some people are supporting nonsense in here are the same ones complaining about people's nasty attitude in other topics, im not here to fight or force my truth on anyone, i was simply sharing a freaking link

Signing a petition is useless under Trump administration. All you need is to vote Blue in November.

AdrianSolorzano reacted to Nathan B in US Embassy Reopening - Update Thread
I did not intend this to be a political post. Also, if what I learned in 7th grade history class is still correct, the State Department is apart of the Executive Branch. The President of the United States is the head of the Executive Branch and appoints the Secretary of State who is in charge of carrying out and implementing the President's foreign policy.

AdrianSolorzano reacted to Nathan B in US Embassy Reopening - Update Thread
Unfortunately, this seems to correlate with what I have been suspecting the whole time. Trump can use COVID-19 as an excuse to keep the embassies closed and pretty much stop all immigration without causing a public outcry or any legal ramifications. Hopefully this is a sign that all of the embassies will start opening again at the end of this month and the interview processes can start. We are waiting for an interview date at the Tokyo embassy.

AdrianSolorzano reacted to milimelo in The People Working At The Embassy in HCMC Are USELESS
No, June 4 is for USCIS to open some offices. DOS is a different agency. It’s up to the chief of mission at each embassy to decide which phase they’re in. Phase 3 requires undersecretary of mgt approval and as far as I know no post is at that level. Additionally, there’s a worldwide suspension on regular visa processing- when it will be lifted is still unknown.
Why didn’t you leave when you ran out of food? Or you’re roughing it until visa in hand?

AdrianSolorzano reacted to Quarknase in The People Working At The Embassy in HCMC Are USELESS
I’m sorry that you are frustrated but aiming it at government employees is a bit unfair.
Decisions around Embassy reopening are made in Washington by Dept of State so your “lazy government employees” are depending on that decision. Humble yourself - Immigration is not a right, and no timeline is granted. Even more so under current circumstances. You are physically with your Fiancé, what else do you need? Others are waiting apart from another.

AdrianSolorzano reacted to vincentlina in Parents of US Citizens cases under I-130 (IR-5) have been left out in the current Executive Order .
The EO is neither of these things. Whether you agree or disagree with it -- in my opinion, it is entirely just "rea meat" for his base because it is too narrowly focused. If it was about protecting jobs, why so many exceptions. Secondly, "most" immigrants migrate to US more healthier than most Americans. Why? Because of all the vaccinations (there are millions of anti-vax citizens), medical exams, and are bared from being awarded a visa if posses many types of diseases and sickness that plague many Americans. So those two arguments are warrant less.

AdrianSolorzano reacted to vinzer in Official Executive Order for Suspending Entry of Immigrants
This is really just unfortunate for those affected by the order. Not all immigrants are seeking to take jobs. In my case, I would have been coming in still employed with my current employer (we do work remotely even before the crisis), so it's not as if I'd be coming in to compete with other US citizens for work, it's really more of just changing who I pay taxes to. But it is what it is, and I'll just see if the government actually lifts the order in 60 days, but I have my own suspicions it would be extended well into Trump's next term (assuming he wins in November). The economic fallout from COVID-19 is vast, and two months is a very small amount of time to make a call that the economy has recovered enough to resume immigration application processing.
That said, I'm happy for those who were able to get exempted from the EO. Don't waste the opportunity given to you. 😄
P.S. Apologies if this sort of reactionary post is not allowed in this thread. The original megathread got closed, so I figured reactions should go into this one. I did my best to keep this post civil.

This is from the RapidVisa web site, a service to help folks immigrate, I used them and they were good::
"
Trump Immigration Ban
April 22, 2020 – TRUMP IMMIGRATION BAN – President Trump signed an executive order temporarily banning certain immigrant visas. The majority of RapidVisa customers aren’t affected. It doesn’t apply to K1 fiance visas, CR1/IR1 spousal visas (with US citizen sponsors), CR2/IR2 child visas, Adjustments of status, Removal of Conditions, Naturalizations, or Tourist visas. Customers affected at this time are IR5 parent visas and F2A spousal visas (LPR sponsors)."
