  1. This is important for those who had biometric appts canceled. "Rescheduling of Cancelled ASC Appointments USCIS will automatically reschedule any necessary ASC appointments that were cancelled due to the temporary office closure, or send notifications of biometrics reuse to eligible individuals." What this means I assume is that those who have had biometrics done within perhaps the year before (or some pre-determined date) will not have to go for another biometric appt - they will reuse the previous ones.
  2. https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/uscis-response-covid-19 Application Support Center (ASC) Appointments and Rescheduling USCIS will resume in-person processing of biometrics at certain Application Support Centers. Please check the USCIS office closings page to see if your ASC has reopened before coming to an appointment. Individuals who appear at a date or time other than what is listed on the ASC appointment notice may encounter significant processing delays. Applicants may only be accompanied by an interpreter, attorney, parent/legal guardian of a minor or individual providing assistance to a disabled person. Rescheduling of Cancelled ASC Appointments USCIS will automatically reschedule any necessary ASC appointments that were cancelled due to the temporary office closure, or send notifications of biometrics reuse to eligible individuals. Individuals who must still appear in person at an ASC will receive a new appointment letter in the mail. If you do not receive an appointment notice or notification of biometrics reuse by mail within 90 days of your ASC reopening, call 800-375-5283 . Note: USCIS cannot automatically re-schedule appointments for Canadian and United Kingdom visa applicants. Canada Visa Applicants: visit the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada website for updated information. UK Visa Applicants: visit the UK Visas and Immigration website for updated information.
  3. This is from the RapidVisa web site, a service to help folks immigrate, I used them and they were good:: " Trump Immigration Ban April 22, 2020 – TRUMP IMMIGRATION BAN – President Trump signed an executive order temporarily banning certain immigrant visas. The majority of RapidVisa customers aren’t affected. It doesn’t apply to K1 fiance visas, CR1/IR1 spousal visas (with US citizen sponsors), CR2/IR2 child visas, Adjustments of status, Removal of Conditions, Naturalizations, or Tourist visas. Customers affected at this time are IR5 parent visas and F2A spousal visas (LPR sponsors)."
  4. But then once married and you apply for ROC, you are asking the USCIS to issue a Green Card, what category does that put you in?? Will that fall into Trump's "no Green Cards issued for 60 days??"
  5. We received the biometrics appointment, but it is at 8 AM, what happens if we get there and hour or so late?? Filed February 29, and got Biometric letter/document on March 9...for March 23rd. Any insight is appreciated, thanks
  6. Received approval notice today. ROC sent September Sept 27 2018, fingerprints taken July 2, 2019. No interview necessary. Received a text message saying it was updated and to check Case Status online. Total time taken was 10 months and a few days. Nebraska Center

  8. Yes, I finally figured it out that it is legal, etc. Still waiting for any kind of notification that my wife's fingerprints were taken July 2, nada on any status page.
  9. The https://myeverify.uscis.gov website asks for your name addresses, and that you are giving them permission (a 3rd party) to check your credit report ANd give them your social security #...that sounds fishy to me
  10. My wife had biometrics taken July 2 (Nebraska Center), still not any update via any method (email/text message/old or new web site). Anyone else in this situation, we still have "fingerprint fee was received," dated September 2018)??
  11. where do you find what Code your Biometrics code is?? Thanks
  12. Biometrics taken July 2 (Raleigh NC) Nebraska Center. Still no evidence that any of the status websites has moved past "Fingerprint fee received"
  13. Does anyone know in a general way when an interview is appointed after biometrics has been done?? And if no interview is necessary, how long then before new Green Cards are printed?? Thanks
  14. All due respect to this forum, but I believe most of the 751 applicants are not members here nor follow the forum
