Thank you @Crazy Cat and @JeanneAdil. After researching and reading up on the IRS website, we determined that if I filed jointly, we'd have to declare his worldwide income and if filing separately, we would not.

That is exactly what I stated....."If you file a joint return, he MUST report his world-wide income for all of 2021.  "

Nothing to do. The EAD could even be produced, sent and delivered.

I can vaguely remember seeing somewhere that it needed to be within the last 6 months. But after reviewing the instructions for the I-485, it just says “taken recently”. Honestly, my husband got a ton of copies of the one he took for his medical (in May) and we just used those.

I like doing this for my own peace of mind. I am about ready to put my husband's AOS packet in the envelope to send out in the mail tomorrow. I wanted to do one last check to make sure I've included everything. Could someone please verify? Looks good to me, and the address is correct.  I assume the foreign birth certificate is either in English, or you are also including a certified translation.

Hello! My husband and I are very close to filing his adjustment of status paperwork, but I am a little confused on whether or not we need to complete and send in the I-693. It’s been less than a year since his medical and his vaccinations are marked Complete.

Hey just want to update my fiance and I got our interview date for april 8th and we got approved...we were so excited and relieved and started tears of joy. I just came back from DR yesterday and my fiance is waiting for her passport which she just received a email saying is ready today.

We were approved in March 2020 and have been waiting since then, during pandemic it's hard to predict when anyone can get their appointment for the interview, but you should stay strong and believe for better! Don't give up! So many couples are waiting!🌺

Looks like the current Administration wants to keep the unlawful "No Visa Policy" as long as they can. The Milligan v. IMO, odds are that the Plaintiff lawyers would win on that motion.

I think you should go for it if you can afford it,if you’ve been following the entire thing since there wasn’t even a lawsuit , you’d know that it’s helped many couples. It’s worth a short and I’ve seen most people that filed already married from the first round. The second round most already have their interviews. 
 
I wouldn’t trust what the state department says because they always contradict. Yes they say that the plaintiffs won’t be given priority but how come the embassies are ONLY scheduling for plaintiffs? They also said k1s will be given high priority when things resume ,that was false. I also suggest you ask this question in a group about k1 visas like on Facebook or something other than here because most people on here seem to dislike the entire visa category. 

I just don’t see how that is accurate at all! Even during covid and NVC not really sending cases, mine was transferred to the embassy in 6 months. Approved March and transferred to Sweden in September. What’s he on about? Lol
