Few pages earlier there was few people saying they got the RFE as well. Some August filers got the same- it is required now.

I did include the i944, but I read in the August group that some people sent in their package without the i944 and got approved. I also haven’t heard back - package was received on the 9th

Another month another round of AOS submissions. Please be aware the fee will increase, due to take effect  October 2, 2020, best get your packets in as early as you can to avoid the increase which is substantial.

    AOS Checklist
Cover Letter listing Table of Contents (Check Payable to U.S. Department of Homeland Security - $1,225.00)
Form I-485 (completed and signed by non-US Citizen/beneficiary)
Form G-1145  Form I-944 (Declaration of Self-Sufficiency with applicable supporting documents.)  (As of this posting this form is not required due to the injunction; however, this form has been a thorn in the pants. I recommend to fill this form out and get it ready, less paying the fees for equivalency documents). Better to have it ready in case the injunction does not hold and USCIS  reinstates this form like it has been before. Again this form is NOT REQUIRED as of this posting!!!!! Copy of beneficiary's Passport with biographical page  Copy of beneficiary's K1 Visa from Passport and entry stamp  Copy of NOA2 Approval letter (from K1 process)  I-94  Copy of beneficiary's Birth Certificate  translation of birth certificate (if needed) Certified copy of Marriage License  Passport Photos (2) name written on the back  Copy of DS-3025  Be sure to use the correct filing code of (c)(9) if this code applies to you. The I-485 instructions explains all the codes in detail. If you are filing under a different code (other than (c)(9) the fee for your AOS will not be correct and USCIS will reject your entire packet.
Form I-864 (completed and signed by USC) (goes with form I-485)
Proof of USC's citizenship (copy of birth certificate, copy of passport bio page, or other) 2019, 2018 (optional), and 2017 (optional) Tax Return (with W-2) or Transcripts (transcripts are better if you can get them) Employment Verification letter (updated one - not the one used during K1 process)  Pay stubs (last 3 months)
Form I-765 (completed and signed by non-US Citizen/beneficiary)
Copy of beneficiary's Passport with biographical page  Copy of beneficiary's K1 Visa from Passport and entry stamp  I-94  Passport Photos (2) name written on the back  Copy of NOA2 (from K1 process)
Form I-131 (completed and signed by non-US Citizen/beneficiary)
Copy of beneficiary's Passport with biographical page  Copy of beneficiary's K1 Visa from Passport and entry stamp  I-94  Passport Photos (2) name written on the back  Copy of NOA2 (from K1 process

Be sure to double check for the current fees as fees do sometimes increase, so please check. Additionally check the forms as listed above i.e., current version and or edition date, there has been many changes to various forms. Consider sending tax transcripts instead of the 1040, and W2's. Also consider preparing a cover letter for each form in addition to the main cover letter.

Make sure you send long form birth certificates and not the short form.  Hope this helps in your preparation of your AOS. When in doubt ask questions.

Please consider filing the I-131 and the I-765 even if you don't think you'll need them right now. You never know what changes your life will have on down the road, so I recommend you file these two forms from the start. There is no extra charge to file them with your AOS and it's much much easier to submit them all at once.

    I’m sure it is possible.
did you try to join the group on Fb ‘couples separated by travel ban’?
there are many Americans traveling to Europe too. I’m already with my fiancé and planning our little ceremony.
my advice would be- don’t waste time because I’ve heard some embassy workers telling someone that lifting the travel ban might not happen soon. There are plenty of ways to get to your fiancé and I’m sure you’ll succeed 💪🏻

airplanes are packed with people. I wish you to find your way how to travel to your fiancé 💕

I’m happy to hear that you found a solution.
in theory your fiancé would be in the last 14 days on Schengen area (because of the transit) so let us know please if that mattered.
I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you guys.

remember, this situation is very stressful to most of us. It’s hard when you want to see each other ASAP because it’s been so long. We are here on this forum to support each other not to point on each other’s mistakes I believe.

I don't, so I'm not sure if they had an emergency appointment or not, but still, they issued one after not issuing any for months in a row, so I got a little excited.

    Apologies.....I did read it wrong.
But K1 visas do not hold the same caliber of a CR1. That is, in fact why, someone denied a k1 gets married and files for a CR.
You have to keep in mind that "time as we know it" is different.....it is not what it was 6 months ago....

ohhh 💕 I know how it feels. In June I thought after end of the ban all k1 procedures will be back on track. When I found out about the news.. I really cried and I was devastated. But you know what? As you said- follow your feeling- make everything you can to fight for your rights and to do everything you can to achieve your goal!
everything is possible and sky is the limit!
maybe going through Croatia as so many others would be some solution?
I’m in contact with a girl who is in Croatia now- I’m keeping my fingers crossed for her and everyone who wants to reunite! 💖
