You will usually get a Rejected status almost immediately after submitting you petition. You won't even get NOA1. Most causes for this are people forgetting to sign their forms, sending an outdated form or sending the incorrect payment amount.

If you get an RFE, your status will change from Case Received to Request for Additional Evidence Was Sent.

I don't know anything about expedited petitions.

I thought it would be interesting to use case tracker to pull some stats. I pulled all I129F petitions that were received on Dec 19. Mine is one of them.

    Stats show:

101 total petitions with Dec 19 Receive date
    43 have been approved
    15 were sent RFEs
    7 were rejected
    1 withdrawn

35 are still waiting for updates, including mine.

137 days here too. I'm watching about 30 petitions including mine. I'm seeing about 2-4 changes each day. Either RFE or approvals.

    Hello Ms. Carin,

I hope you will please update us here with everything when the time comes. My fiancee will have to do all this in Manila around June or July, so I am very curious about how it will go with re-opening, the virus, the Executive Order, etc. Your experience will be very valuable information for all the other FilAm couples that follow. Thank you and good luck.

Is it me or do you all find it amazing that there are two tools to use to learn about this process and most here don't use those two tools to get out of this the most information? The two I am talking about is the PDF and the post that others have entered in this thread. Someone ask a question or has a request and all around them it's being answered but they still ask the question.

Ppl, you must do some of the heavy lifting if you are going to get through this. Ok. I'm done complaining. Carry on.

Exactly. If you have ever lived out of the country of different state than where you reside or your fiance has lived elsewhere, they will run checks in those areas. Sometimes getting an answer back from the various organizations that keep that information takes time.. Especially those abroad. With the pandemic, it's probably a ton slower as a lot of places are half staffed and maybe operating with limited capabilities.

I am also willing to bet that these applications (I129f) aren't even looked at for the first two months. So a majority of the approval period they are waiting to be worked on.

I also have security checks done for clearances. I waited 3.5 yrs to be adjudicated for a TS while other colleagues were getting theirs back at 2 yrs.

I wouldn't recommend putting her on the lease until you are married. You don't even know if your I129f will be approved...

That response is very vague...So are K1 effected by the EO? An immigration lawyer said no.

I definitely don't want to get married in the Philippines... That route is so slow. She has two young kids and we want more right away. I couldn't stand being separated from them in only being able to go visit a few weeks each year.

NoMansLand2020 got a reaction from TiEy in Estimated delay for I-129f applications?
I would say it's slower with less staff. I'm almost 130 days now. Tons of December filers still waiting. USCIS receives close to 100 petitions a day. There were 95 received on Dec 19th,including mine. Only 35% of these have had approvals.

I have an Android based phone, so case tracker is not available. There are similar tools that let you see other cases around yours. Mine is with a ton...85 or so that were received on Dec 19th. Some of these have been approved. Only one shows an RFE, a few others were not accepted because the petitioner neglected to sign the form or sent the wrong amount of payment.
Ironically, only 28/80 have been approved. Thats 35%.. The last one was approved on April 17th.

Most people here are going through CSC, not the others. There are a few February filers who got NOA2 as well.

They have expedited services, but it's usually very specific needs. Like being in a war zone.  Again, not many people in this group are expediting their process.

NoMansLand2020 got a reaction from Jason567 in Why you, (US Petitioner) should not lie about your criminal or other histories
I don't think not telling a fiance or spouse about a charge or conviction that you had twenty years ago is keeping secrets or lying... But it really depends on what the circumstances are.

Would you come out and tell them about a 25 year old traffic ticket you received for running a red light when you were 21?

I have three misdemeanor charges from 16 years ago that happened when I was in college. I paid my fine and went on with my life. Graduated from university and am currently working for the Department of Defense and hold a TS clearance.

Under normal circumstances, if I was marrying a local person and not going through this process, I wouldn't bring it up unless asked.

All petitions go to CSC in California. You seem to have included a ton of stuff you do not need. Why the birth certificate? You don't need chat or call logs for the I129f. They are only wanting proof that you have met at least once in a two year period.

It would be more organized if you separated documents for each trip. At least that is my opinion.  I created a table of contents for my submission.
