Yes you can use another envelope. Make sure you send it to the listed address and make sure your RFE is on the top of your response.

Not unless you are not able to organize a petition yourself. That is pretty much what you are paying for. I would rather be in control of what is being submitted rather than relying on someone else.

Photos, boarding passes, passport stamps, hotel and airline reservations. Receipts from places we went with photos to accompany. Bank statements showing I made purchases, ATM withdrawals. I had dated photos that you get at some theme parks plus the entrance tickets and receipts.

You can get your case number by email. It's actually recommended that you send an email. You will need case number to submit DS160.

In my opinion, all of those photos will be rejected.

I recommend that you both shave your heads so your ears are visible. Also, your fiance should have his facial hair waxed. I would then grease his face so it is shinier. He may also want to think about a tuxedo.

The background color should be #16 glossy eggshell white. Anything else, and USCIS will deny the application, keep your fees, and bar you from applying again for 1 year.

Ah ok. I wasn't aware they needed to have received my case yet. The instructions make it sound like I needed to have nvc update as soon as possible.

You will need to go off of USCIS estimates of 5-7 months. I believe you can contact them at the 7th month mark.

NoMansLand2020 got a reaction from Cheburashka34 in About to submit my I-129f.. some last minute questions
I had a very organized packet. I used a table of contents as the first page which introduced my packet and the contents with page numbers.

Then each section was held together with paper clips. I held the entire packet together with a few binder clips. Then I put the packet in a Manila envelope and labeled it I129F.

Then sent it in via Priority mail in a padded envelope.

I did the same thing with my RFE Response.

am a December filer. We got our NOA2 this past Monday. Took 6 months. I believe the average is now closer to 5 months. Cases are really not processed in order. Background checks take longer for some people versus others.

I saw other December filers approved in March and a ton in April. We waited until the end of May before we heard anything. And it was an RFE. Luckily I got the response sent in quickly and had an approval two weeks later.

Trust the process no matter how frustrating and slow it seems. Everything will work out. Consulates are closed worldwide anyway. Even with an approval you won't be able to do anything.

    Good luck my fellow Utahn

The RFE lists possible evidence of a bona fide relationship. One us financial support. They aren't looking at the petitioners ability to provide support.. Tax transcripts and the likes. But rather if you have sent your fiance money.. Financial support.

The burden of proof is on the petitioner. I don't understand that I guess. It's a Govt process.  I have a TS DoD clearance. All I did was submit the required form. The Govt did the rest.

Maybe if USCIS was more clear and specific on what they wanted, people wouldn't send in hundreds of pages.

People are afraid of a denial because they aren't exactly sure what USCIS is looking for so they send whatever they think will prove their case.

That is one of my pet peeves!!!  Why does the petitioner make the beneficiary deal with all this stuff?  They don't know anything about government paperwork and they seem to say the petitioner is "too busy".  That truly bothers me for some reason.  It was my job to petition my wife and step kids (twice!!!).  I never told them to do it.  I makes me question the relationship.
