This thread was created for those who are waiting for their NOA2 K-1 case assignment from NVC and then tracking your case on wards to your Embassy.  Contained in the PDF below are many tips, tricks, and hacks to help you along the way.

To those of us that are grammar and spelling challenged or English is a second language with its own challenges Microsoft has introduced EDITOR. It's free to use with a Microsoft account. Details are here. I have been using the new Microsoft EDGE browser which has been completely rewritten using the chrome-based language and I use the EDITOR extension. When I write here on VJ I have a grammar and spelling assistant that highlights my errors. One click on the word in question and I am given a list of alternatives to use. Simple to use. I suggest checking it out further to see if this is something you will find valuable in your writing prose.

Got approved yesterday! 🙂 Super excited and now waiting for my case to get to the NVC. I did fill out the G-1145 but it seems I never received an Email or text notification.

Congratulations. That's a giant step. Be sure to read the first post in this thread for valuable information. We have experienced that the G-1145 E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance is not always sent.  Your NOA2 will be sent snail mail to the petitioner so be on the lookout for it.

Pretty sure @Kev_logue is in the right place.  That person was just mentioning January 21 as a frame of reference for how long it took so others didn't have to click the timeline.

Yeah, my bad. I was just stating that my NOA1 was on Jan 21st and I just got approved.

 

NOA2 was June 2nd so I would assume this is the right group for the next steps 😃

That's great! Now is the long wait. It can be a 3 - 7 month wait but no one knows or can tell you with any certainty.
