Congrats!
Quick question, once we submit all fees and documents, how long does it take for NVC to answer that they received/reviewed them?
From the last three months that I've been following the NVC threads, it seems like they're typically reviewing documents around the 8 week mark.

Yes I get that this morning
Only the other fee is still processing
I see. You can start the AOS process by uploading the application and all related documents. But I would wait to submit everything (IV application and civil documents) on the same day.

My wife pay the AOS fee this morning and it say start now , can she start?
Typically the system will not let you 'start now' until after the payment has process dor a day or two. Does it say 'payment processing' or 'paid'? Regardless, if it allows you to click the 'start now' button, I would!

We just got DQ'd this morning. Originally uploaded Documents and submitted the IV application on Feb 23rd. We had a major mistake on the application(incorrect applicant name entered) that was our fault so we had to contact NVC and get a supervisor review done to open the application back and correct the mistake, they said it will take 6 weeks to review but a few days later they re-opened it and we fixed it, not sure if it was under supervisor review that caused our case to get DQ'd a few days later but we are so very happy Alhumdulilah! God is great!
Now on to the stress about the public charge rule and hope the interview will go smoothly. I did upload the DS-5540 at NVC like on Feb 28th and will take an updated one to the interview with more information and supporting documents if they need. Good luck to all of you!
it's under the applicant's additional document section.
wow that's lucky!! Congratulations!

It’s ok now
Is there’s a form for DS260?
OK good.
DS 260 is the application for the beneficiary- it isn't a form to fill out, it's an interactive application, you answer the questions presented on each page.

DQ is documentary qualified. Once you submit all your documents for NVC stage, you wait to become DQ'd and then receive the interview letter.

How do you upload the i864 form?
Have you paid the AOS fee, and it displays as paid on the CEAC site? If so, then you complete the appropriate i-864, then upload the file under the AOS section.

The title of your post seems a bit biased though, may be “My angry boyfriend” suits better.
I agree. The title for this post isn't appropriate for the question. Why should these relationship concerns blanket an entire country of men.

This doesn't sound much like an immigration question, but I hear red flags about the relationship for sure 🚩🚩 Regardless of where your partner is from, you shouldn't be letting anyone control everything you do.

It was processed at the Nebraska center but the NOA 2 was sent from the Potomac center. So I'm not sure if they transferred the case but I was never informed of it.
Oh that's wonderful, I hope that's the case for some of the other Nebraska filers in here waiting too! Congratulations!

No, it was just a regular submission. In my opinion I think it has to do with the country/region. There’s no other logical reason some take longer than others. Maybe the NVC officers have specific areas they are in charge of, and my region has fewer applications? And thank you!! 💕🥳 I can’t believe it.
I was hoping it was alphabetical by country 😂 (Algeria)

I saw on FB someone mention that they recommend anyone going to an interview, to bring the new DS-5540 form ( https://eforms.state.gov/Forms/ds5540.PDF ) .
Does anyone here have any additional info on this?
