I agree with it being a ploy to rally up his supporters for the upcoming election. 
 
I personally just want to be reunited with my husband with the CR1 visa in process. Sending positive thoughts to all those in a similar position. We will get through this. I think the biggest threat is the pandemic.

Every EO he signed had exceptions. This one will not be different. Lets wait and see who is exempted but do not be surprised if the whole thing does not happen.

I highly doubt it would affect any issued visas. That would be very messy and difficult to implement.

Come to Vegas, I am still hooking people up with marriage certificates in under an hour until further notice. Everything is still doable here, and flights will not get any cheaper than they are now. My last couple was very surprised at how fast I got them taken care of... and my services are still FREE to VJ members!

Someone is hoping to check with the embassy in London on Monday as to how one demonstrates to airport check in staff that one is married to a USC. 

Hello friends, just received a text from USCIS and was hoping to hear that my case was also transferred and will be worked on. However the message said that my I130 was approved and NOA2 was on the way!!! My anniversary was last Sunday, could not have asked for more. Called my wife back in India and we both cried and smiled and now I'm out to office. Will be updating after NOA2 also. Just want to say thank you for all present in this community and staying positive and sharing their experiences. It really helped me stay calm for the last 12 months or so. I pray for everyone to have their loved ones near them very soon!

Mine took 12 days for a notification online. Not sure if it's an anomaly but it can take longer than those saying it was pretty instant as some others have posted too.

All cases now start with the IOE code regardless of which service centre it is sent to now. This reflects how they process all applications online either directly or via uploads of paper ones.

My husband's in Nigeria and this immigrant ban mess is annoying,
but I have a feeling Nigeria/consulate will do what's necessary regarding biometrics,etc.
I've heard the talks are expected to yield positive results.

I feel you two too! It really is unnerving when you file and think it's done, but actually have to prepare for the long wait when all you want to do is to reunite finally.. let's support each other and try and look at the positive side! Sending you all also good and "we can do it" vibes!  

I feel you!! My parents haven’t even met my husband in person because he can’t get a visa to come here and it’s not easy to get them down to where he lives. We decided to just do it anyways. I too feel the pressure of not getting any younger and needing to start a family. Sending good vibes your way.

No, it's not automatic. You have to register the baby's birth at the nearest US embassy and it entitles the baby to travel to the US as a citizen;

If it's any consolation, even though ours is online it feels the same lol. Thank God for VJ - we can all have a rant and get through the madness together. Good luck with your submission. Will update my timeline once something happens and get an estimated timeline we can work with. 

"If your Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, has been properly filed, USCIS will initially respond by mailing you a receipt notice that confirms receipt of your application. The receipt notice is formally known as Form I-797C, Notice of Action (see example below) and arrives 2-3 weeks after filing."

I have yet to receive mine but it was submitted online a week ago. According to the above quote you should receive it very soon.

@Xyrstine as far as I understand, you don't need the G-1145 form since online applications are not mailed anywhere, you don't need to be notified. I will submit online in a few days, my application is almost ready and there is no place to upload it anyways.

We just submitted ours last night, got the IOE number right away and our receipts for payment (filed for my son and me concurrently). I figure since they have my husband's email for the receipts, and we can log in at any time to find out the status, we didn't need the G-1145. We are anxious to find out our service centre - maybe all online petitions are defaulting to Nebraska? Guess we'll find out. I'm still worried I forgot to submit something, but I guess we'll find that out, too...good luck to you all! 

Hello all December filers! We filed online on Dec 27th. Unfortunately our receipt says it was assigned to Nebraska Service Center  I'm expecting to hear from them in a year or so  
Thankfully we're not in a hurry (we live together in Poland) so if anyone were to get Nebraska it's okay that it's us
