@skjourney when was the interview? That was a quick turnaround if i remember seeing that your interview was Tuesday, congrats! 

My medical was the 30th of March, which the doctors' office praised as being a good space of time between the medical and my Visa interview (15th of April), so I'd recommend the 14 day sort of gap just to make sure.  

@AmyOlivia do you mind if i ask when your medical was? My fiancée wants to chance leaving 12 days between medical and interview but I’ve been telling her that the general recommendation from the forum is 14 days (2 full weeks).

I didn’t fill out the DS-160, my fiancée did, but i don’t think she needed the invoice number for anything. I thought you needed your case number for the DS-160 but i guess not. Maybe someone else can help on that.

Some of us did think that we were going to be in-transit 2 weeks ago (even though nothing is certain and nothing is promised as you always say) but I understand we do jump the gun sometimes on here.

I’m UK too. I got my case number March 25th and still at NVC. 

Keep calling, yours should be there any day now. They usually overestimate to cover their butts.

I always call 603-334-0888. You can try that, they’re open at least til 6 eastern time. 

It took me a week for my first letter but it was so brief i requested another and this took another week. I was never charged for my lettters but i know some places do.
 
I would definitely recommend a letter outlining that this is no longer an active issue, the reason behind the diagnosis, if she has ever self harmed/ attempted suicide, had counselling, medication?

Status switched to Ready yesterday, have my medical tomorrow in London and was able to book mycinterview appointment for Tues 30th.
Incase anyone is wondering there's a lot of availability in London for April/May but everything seems to be between 9am and 10.30am, so an overnight stay the night before is probsbly required! 

You know from waiting for the NOA2 don't let the date thing confuse or stress you any. Someone told me awhile back that if you waited an excessively long time on your K1 NOA2 that once you get it the rest of the process is very fast. I'm not sure if that is true i waited 300 days for my NOA2, but it does seem like things are rolling now, but I think they roll for everyone at this stage in the process. They just did not get to yours today don't read into it. It's coming hold on!!!!!
