After NOA2

I received my NOA2 on March 22nd. I haven't heard anything from the NVC. I've heard some people just wait for something in the mail for the case number and some call. What's the best route to take and can I still use the USCIS website to check for updates on my case or is it now a different website?

Start calling NVC from 2 weeks, they can give you the case number over the phone then you can book the medical in London over the phone with the case number (as thats what they ask for to be able to book)

I might be an isolated incident but things seem like they might be backing up a bit for London. We were placed on administrative processing at the NVC which I’ve read can be because of a backup at the respective embassy. We have a pretty straightforward case that has been moving along quickly to this point so that’s what I’m leaning towards. This admin processing caused us to miss the April 2nd shipment to the embassy (received case number March 25th) so waiting on April 16th now.

Then today my my fiancée got a phone call from medical asking to move her exam from the 11th to the 25th because they’d double booked a few exams.

Oh wow! That's crazy! At the moment we're having a heck of a time getting his entire medical summary so as of right now, we need a little more time. I just like to keep track of where the case is at lol

We received our NOA2 Late november, called early January and was given our case number (it had been created 2.5 weeks after the NOA2 it turned out).

Apparently the best time to call is right on opening time.

Once you receive your LND case number it'll be this website: https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?App=IV  to see when it's "In transit" (shipped to London) and then "Ready" (Sat fat and happy at London waiting for the medical and then interview).

Summary:

Do you know if there's a certain number to call? When I search it, it says to call (603)334-0700 but that's just a recording and then it hangs up?

Okay thank you! I'll try tomorrow morning first thing and see if I have any luck. It's been 20 days since the application was approved and sent off so hopefully we hear something soon.

I have in my head it's 7 am EST but I could be wrong. I'm sure someone will pop up soon and let us know

And don’t worry about the recording at the beginning. They deal with K-1 visas there and all they need is your USCIS or case number.

Thank you! That number worked, I just had to call bright and early lol. They told me it takes up to 6 weeks to get anything in and it's been 21 days since they sent it to the NVC....

Keep calling, yours should be there any day now. They usually overestimate to cover their butts.

I've been calling first thing in the mornings and finally received the case number but they said they literally just opened it. Should I add that to my timeline or wait for a notice? Also, I already filled out the DS-160 not realizing I needed to wait. Is this going to be a problem?
