Last recent approval was on the 19th, I believe, for an RFE case, but the latest PD was the 1st of July. I dunno, it's weird. They've ground to a halt for some reason.

Anyone here got an IOE receipt number and can share how their experience went or how it's going currently? Heard some people talking about how they can't get a NVC case number so that worries me.

I had an IOE. The experience with Uscis was great. We were approved in 2 months. Since March we are waiting for case number from NVC. This is being a nightmare as we are Reaching 4 months waiting just for a Case number. Until today I just know that NVC can't access our information as it's all electronic.
Let's see... They are refining this process but this waiting it's a bit frustrating.
    Good luck to all.

I'm interested in this topic, also.  Has anyone who received an IOExxxxxxxxx receipt number when submitting their I-130 actually received their NVC case number?

Us:  Nebraska Office / Filipina Applicant

    Our timeline:

    1/14/19   Priority Date
    4/1/19    I-130 Approved
    4/2/19   Case sent to NVC

15 weeks later, still nothing from NVC.  Calls and emails to both tier 1 and 2 USCIS agents result in no information other than "we sent it to NVC, its out of our hands."

Calls and emails to NVC result in being told they have not received it and we need to wait.  No info on possible problems, options, or timeframes.  Very unhelpful on both ends.

Hopefully others with IOE I-130 receipts will post their experiences and timelines here.

    Hi Eh0225

I would put the petitioner's passport photos behind the I-130 and the beneficiary's passport photos behind the I-130A as suggested here: https://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide1

The guide also suggests putting the G-1145 form on top of the packet.

In general, the order in which the requirements are found in the I-130 instructions.  Here is an example of a table of contents but your circumstances may require more items like divorce decrees etc.

    -       Personal check #_____ for $535.00 filing fee
    -       G1145 E-Notification Form
    -       Form I-130
    -       Form I-130a
    -       Photocopy of Petitioner’s Certified Copy of Birth Certificate
    -       Photocopy of Certified Copy of Marriage Certificate
    -       Passport type photos for Petitioner
    -       Photos together and other evidence of bona fide relationship

Don't delay your filing just to wait on third-party affidavits.  Those are considered weak evidence.  Focus on stronger evidence of time spent together.  Based on what you posted above, it seems like you already have enough of those.

Quality not quantity is the key. No point sending 40 photos that were taken on the same day. Send one or two from each visit that show the passage of time - seasons, different hairstyles, etc. Better to send 6 photos that are all from different visits than 40 photos from one day. The same applies to phone records. No point sending just last month’s phone records. A snippet of your phone records from each month to show continued communication is better.

As many photos as you want.  Print them as many as nine per page on full sheets of plain white paper.  Chat logs are logs.  Send EXAMPLES of how and how frequently you communicate.  Limit those examples to 20 pages or so.  I did write EXAMPLES, right?  Oh yes, I see I did say EXAMPLES.  😉

I would change the order so the G1145 goes right under the check, then drop the descriptions of the forms.  They know the purpose of the forms.  Then make sure you include "passport style photos", not just "photos".

Copies are fine as they will not send back original documents you send them.  The I134 or I864 depending on the visa you are applying for come at the consulate phase.

    Good Luck!

Austin and I met on an online chat website called Omegle in early January of 2014.
We were just two teenagers looking for someone to talk to and after several chats with different strangers which all led nowhere, we finally came across one another.
We knew as soon as we started talking that day there was something special between us, we felt as if we already knew each other and we were so open and comfortable with each other. We ended up moving to an app called Kik and talked for hours that day.
We have spoken to each other every day since then, texting, video calling, playing online games and spending as much time as we could together.
After three and a half years the time was finally right and I booked my flight to the US. On June 4, 2017, I flew to Indianapolis to meet Austin for the first time.
We were both so excited yet so nervous, we couldn't believe after all these years we were finally going to be together.
As as soon as we met and held each other we knew everything was worth it and once again, we felt so comfortable and happy with each other. We spent two amazing weeks together, full of firsts, travels, laughter, fun and most importantly enjoyment of the precious time we got to have together. During this time Austin showed me around the city, we went downtown and did some fun activities with his mother, he took me to his favorite places and restaurants and brought me over to meet his family and it was all so amazing. After the two weeks have come to an end we had to say goodbye which was the hardest thing we've ever done.
We had planned to meet again in three months but things didn't work out as we planned and we ended up waiting over six months to meet again. On January 16th of 2018 I flew to see Austin for the second time, we got to spend a month together.
We got to spend our fourth year anniversary and my birthday together which was so special for us.
On our fourth year anniversary during our romantic dinner Austin proposed to me and I gladly said yes. We decided we didn't want to waste any time, we wanted to make it official. And so on February 11th, 2018 we got married. We had a small ceremony in his mother's house with close family, while Austin's father and my mother watched the whole thing on video call.

Financial is if you have any financial minglings, which not something everyone has before living together.  He was authorized user on a debit and credit card, because he was in school and not working.  I also sent money, which again may not apply and is fine if not.

The statements are also not heavy duty evidence but just a nice touch.  They can be hand written, I got two of the three notarized.  If not notarized, just provide the person’s contact information as a gesture of authenticity, but don’t sweat these too much.

    Here is what I sent

Dan and I met in an internet chat room called Chat Palz on December 19, 2015. He was teasing me about being an Indianapolis Colts fan. I messaged him to let him know what I thought about his comments against my team and the rest, as they say, was history. We have spoken to each other every day since that moment. After a few months, I decided to take the plunge and go to England to meet him.
On April 26, 2016, I flew to London. I must admit that I have never been so nervous and excited in my life. After going through customs and collecting my baggage, I walked out the doors and there he was. Our first kiss in Heathrow melted away any doubt about meeting him. We spent 2 weeks driving all over England and seeing sites in Cornwall, West Essex, Brighton and London. It was on this trip that we decided to “make it official” as a couple on Facebook.
On December 17, 2016, Dan flew to Fort Wayne Indiana to spend the holidays with my family and me. We spent Christmas with my parents and siblings. We introduced him to all our traditions and learned more about his. On Christmas, Dan gifted me with a promise ring. We began having the conversation on how to take our relationship to the next level and start planning a life together. On New Year’s Eve, we attended the vow renewal of my mom and step-dad and then went to the first ever ball drop in downtown Fort Wayne.
On May 27, 2017, Dan returned to Fort Wayne Indiana for a visit. My family and friends got a chance to show him our city and the things we have to offer. He attended the wedding of one of my best friends with me. At the wedding, he had the chance to meet many of my friends. On this visit, my mom gifted Dan a set of diamond earrings of hers with the purpose of using them for my engagement ring.
On December 22, 2017, I traveled to England to spend the holidays with Dan and his family. He picked me up in London and we drove to Birmingham to stay with his parents. The day after Christmas, we took a trip that included going to Rome, Malta, and Barcelona. While in Malta, on New Year’s Day, Dan proposed to me! Of course I said yes! (Due to the timing of a Visa, I had already purchased my wedding dress and contacted vendors for pricing, so it is a good thing he did!) The night before I left to return home, Dan’s parents had an engagement party for us where I got to meet a lot of his family.
Dan and I are very excited to build and share a life together. Both of our families are in complete support of our relationship and his move.

Thank you for your time and consideration,

. I just printed out a few pictures from each of our meetings and just a couple pages of chat logs from different times over the relationship. I hope that helps!
