Kiolas reacted to LoRo in I-751 January 2019 Filers
My GC expires literally in two days! I need to travel in March too... No biometric no NoA, cannot file an e-request. It doesn’t allow me to make an appointment online... So frustrating... Not sure what’s wrong with them. Some people got their NoA so fast, in less than 2 weeks...

When does you GC expire? Mine is March 28. I need to travel back to England in May so I am hoping to have something by then? What is the deal with CA service center?

Day 39 no update. no NOA. no biometric. Can't file e-request - it kicks me out saying i am within processing times. When should I panic? Mine is WAC.

Same here too. Filed on Jan 11, with cheque cashed on 01/18. still no NOA except for text message and biometric letter

I’m in the same boat. My package was delivered on 01/14. Money order was cashed on 01/18. Still no NOA, but looking at December, November filers posts a few of the people there didn’t get their NOAs until this month, which is crazy...

My husband's was received on January 15. And he was assigned an EAC number. Something coming today according to USPS. Finally, I thought it got lost/never sent due to the government shutdown.
Edit: Can't tell from the USPS scan if it's 2 pages or not. But it shows that it was mailed on February 4, according to the stamp. 🤞

Aw man. I am so jealous of you. I sent mine January 8th, they received it January 10th. I called USCIS and it was processed fully on January 14th. Still no NOA! The disparity in how quickly applications are being handled is insane.

I think leaving the file in the box for the next 8 months will also count as "working on it".

Not sure what my status means
Does anyone know if they usually do Name Check with FBI for I-751? It takes at least 4 months.

Received a letter in the mail(Usps scanning system) it’s two pages . I wonder if it’s the biometrics or extension letter .

I just got off the phone with USCIS as well. They were able to track down my receipt # (starts with LIN) which means they have my paperwork and it's in process. They said I should receive my NoA by the end of this month, but if I don't, then I will have to call them again to get the info pass to go to the local USCIS office here in Louisville and get my passport stamped. Hope to see that NoA before the end of this month, then!
Good luck everyone else who's dealing with this issue too!

Called USCIS as I haven't received NOA and it has been 30 days.
They have submitted my request and representative is supposed to call me within next 72 hours.

Thanks for sharing this! I'm calling the 1-800 hotline right now trying to get my case/receipt number. If this doesn't work, I'll have to go with the Info Pass route as well. Just hoping that they didn't lose or misplaced my package.

What a disaster!
At least you got the case number and stamp though. Now you don’t have to worry that your file was lost/misplaced or anything.

I went to my infopass appointment today because it’s been 7 weeks since package delivered and I haven’t received anything.
They were able to give me my receipt number and stamp my passport!
For the SRC people- the officer told me that they are having issues with the pritining, my case was received but for some reason never mailed to me.
I am able to see it on the USCIS website when I check tho so I’m happy with that.
He he also said biometrics appointments have been delayed because of how long it’s taking them to process this cases( he mentioned that by the time they give you an interview-if so, the fingerprints are expired already) so he said I might not get biometrics for a while.
Hope this info helps for people filing in Dallas !

It does seem the somewhat depressing reality that 12 months from filing is the norm now, compared to the situation a couple of years ago. To be honest at this point I would be happy if it were 12 months and didn't get even longer (I'm a July 2018 filer).

It’s not necessary but if you are going through a tough embassy and need to frontload the petition in preparation for the interview, you can.

Previously, the old USCIS web-site (when you go to uscis.gov and click on "Check Case Status") did not recognize my case number for I-751 (many people here reported the same).
However, today, on Sunday, on the 2nd day after biometrics appointment, the case status says:
Fingerprint Review Was Completed
As of February 10, 2019, we completed our review of your fingerprints and are working on your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number EAC199xxxxxxx, at our Vermont Service Center location. We will let you know if we make a decision or need anything from you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Expect a year. Be pleasantly surprised if it's anything significantly less than that.
