Yes, we do have to address the elephant in the room.  The false allegations.  She's admitted to me that it wasn't true, so I guess that's a first step.  That's the one thing that hurts the most that's going to be the hardest thing for me to get past.   But let's see how it goes.  I know how she feels about a great many things now and some are super easy to address (like how I talk to my ex ...  so that's fine.)  The rest will take some time, but so long as she doesn't go off the deep end again I think we will be OK.  And yes, to your point about a psychiatrics assessment, not a bad idea.  I'll go with her and that should remove the stigma.  🙂

As of today she wants to reconcile.  I do too, but I  have to deal with the fact that she accused me of something that was an outright lie.  I do need to find a way to get past that, protect myself going forward.   That does scare me.

They asked her to see if you had talked to her about anything related to your clearance application. They know what you've said on an application, by asking her they were trying to see if there was any "pillow talk" going on that would/could result in your denial for clearance.

My wife was asked those exact same questions in our AOS interview. The IO read them right off the list he had in front of him. She answered with no issues, but those were the exact same questions he asked, so sounds the same.

I'm not sure I understand this comment.  
I don't know what could be "used against me".  

The procedure that I was familiar with didn't happen, and the process was out of the ordinary.  I was simply questioning if anyone else had experienced anything similar.  To that end, this thread has been helpful.
 
 

Those questions are all on the I-485 form, I attended AOS interview with my wife  few yrs ago and the officer asked me all the Yes and No questions. Then asked my wife 3 questions,  that was it.

I saw this in St. Louis. You did not have a Stokes interview. My wife and I were interviewed together. There were other couples that only one the wife was interviewed. Their interviews went fine. I think it depends on the preference of the interviewer. You are fine.

OK, I looked this up.  If this were a Stokes interview, they would have also interviewed me.  I was never called in, nor did they speak to me.  Just her.  She said it was extremely friendly, but nearly all of the questions were related to national security.  The only relationship questions were "What date did you get married" and "What address do you live at?"

I'm the red flag poster child and we were approved.   Rest easy...  all will be good.

OP, the more you have described this process, the more I think you have nothing to worry about at all.  Btw, our interview was on 1/30/20 (right before COVID hit here at ground zero in Seattle), and even then it took 3 weeks post interview for the 'new card is being produced' message to appear on our USCIS account.  Don't be surprised if it takes a couple of weeks.
