    Hello @Stillwinning!!!😊 @sandranj @FeDaniela @NICOLA2017 @FridayGirl@69 other VJ FORUM members ,

I am from New Jersey and I want to renew my drivers license as my Ead will be expiring January 2020,please tell me how to go about this at DMV and would need to hear from anybody in New Jersey too,I am here to ask few questions about my case ..I submitted my application to the Vermont center some few months back and I already have EAD through my marriage with my abusive wife,I went to the interview all alone and explained to them to hold my i485 and they did ,so now they had to transfer my i485 to Vermont center and I also have my i360 with Vermont center waiting for decision as it is showing your correspondence was received and USCIS is reviewing it..that’s what my i485 and i360 is showing on the USCIS tracking case website..so now the questions is that my EAD is about to expire in January 2020 and I need to renew my drivers license too and renew my Ead as well ..I want to first ask how I will go about renewing my drivers license cause I know that there is now how my new EAD can come before January 2020..I live in NEW JERSEY,please anyone that lives in NJ that has experience about how to renew my drivers license while my case is pending...I want to ask how and what I’m gonna tell them at DMV to get it renewed for me cause I heard they always stress people out sometimes before they could renew their drivers license for them and some dmv don’t even renew with pending case ...so can anybody who is in NEW JERSEY shed more light to this for me on how to go about at DMV ...Thanks to y’all

Under new laws you must have EAD Approval to be able to renew it, you must keep

renew your EAD 3 months before expiration until you get your I360/1485 Approved to be able to get your DL plus once you get your I485 Approved you must go to updated your SS# and write a letter to IRS with your ITIN# (if you paid taxes previously) to transfer all those years to your SS#

Ib6 is for vawa...someone asked earlier the category that's why I replied .

IB6” in particular is for the spouse of a US citizen who self-petitioned under VAWA and who obtained permanent residency by doing Adjustment of Status in the US. An abused spouse of a US citizen can apply for naturalization 3 years after they become a permanent resident

Guys, what to write and what not to.. It was one of that shaking day where pain of 5 years was felt repeatedly many times. Today morning the thriller call from attorny office and then USCIS website down for hours, Now I checked.. and found below message on my I-485 Case no.

"On August 28, 2019, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number EACxxxxxxxxxx  and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address. "

What does it mean.. I am thinking positive with tears  (of thanks to Almighty Lord Jesus) in my eyes😪.

I will give my timeline later once I have something tangible in hand.

    Congratulations!🍾 🇺🇸💫

So I just stepped outside my house to get my mails..behold a letter from Commissioner of jurors office saying I am required by law to fill out the form for a prospective juror service..and that my name was selected at random!!!😳 ok my question is..who's gonna tell these people that I'm not a U.S. citizen..and I'm just a poor country girl waiting to get her interview in peace!😭😭😥😥 I prefer to be left alone! I don't wanna be a juror!!! HELP!!!😞

You just call and say the truth or do not signed it. You Can Not say you are a USC or you will loose your application for Vawa.

I received my VAWA I360 approval Notice and EAD C31 on July 26 in the mail.

I mailed the renewal of EAC C09 to VSC on April 17. Now they also sent me another EAC C09 and Approval Notice  based on my pending i485.   I have two EADs one C31 and one C09.

Did anybody also get two EADs ?

I’m waiting for interview now In NYC.

    Totally normal! I got 2 EAD’s too

    1:vawa(c31)

    2:I765 (c09)

My suggestion is that NO MATTER what you MUST renew your EAD 3 months before expires so you are always with legal status.

    Good morning All 😊!

I am an Aug 22 2017 filer. I got approved on Aug 8th and have an EAC under category C14.. I still haven't received an approval or transfer notice.

Given the fact that I have officially reached 24 months in the process. Do you recommend me reaching out to congresswoman to inquire and see when is my interview or if my case is being transferred at all?

I had a pending i-485 with abuser and it was held upon i-360 filing.

    Thanks in advance!🙏

As referral mine took 27 months from start to finish.

    5/25/2017 applications

    10/29/18 Vawa Approval

    8/14/19 interview

    8/19/19 approval

IB6 means that you got the green card  because you were married to a US citizen and the COA means your green card , but your classe of admission is  lB1 .

Thank You! You are always  to the rescue, always informing and passing your knowledge,

    God Bless You 😘

I will be there next time have a summer meeting! I promise 🙋🏻‍♀️

I just took my time reading denial notices from past members. From 2006 - 2013 and it’s scary. Because am about to send out my application this week.

    - Have anyone been denied lately ?

    - What would be the reasons for denial ?

Am pretty new new here and it’s scary.

My husband divorced me before I could divorce him, will that be a problem because the Citizen divorced first and had anyone here approved been divorced by their spouses who divorced them ?

You have 2 years from the time of final divorce.

In my case the Officer asked me for the divorce decree so I handed to him. It is not required but best to be Divorce before interview.

  9. I got my I797 Noa’s receipt for my I485 while reading I saw that my PD was not the one from my I130 instead was the date I filed my I360 application as self petitioner; I saw the I485 was granted under COA:IB6 which according to what I read  “IB6” in particular is for the spouse of a US citizen who self-petitioned under VAWA and who obtained permanent residency by doing Adjustment of Status in the US. An abused spouse of a US citizen can apply for naturalization 3 years after they become a permanent resident. Always learning something new and sharing 😊

i want to say Thank You to All for your support and if anybody ever needs my help please never hesitate to reach out.  God Bless You All and Patience is Key for this long painful process 🇺🇸💫

    Hi Fam,

the interview letter I got looks like this. I have attached it. It differed greatly from standard interview letters. Has anyone’s i485 interview letter been something remotely similar to this?

    Just confused.

    Mine was different
