Anastasia's interview was this morning (Moscow time, so still last night here in California) and the interviewer informed her she was approved. 😊

This time I want to share my experience at POE today, february 2. It might be helpful if planning to pick DFW as your POE.
 
My POE was Dallas Fort Worth. Our Flight arrived at 04:55 but we were  not allowed off the plane since the CBP staff won't start until 05:00. On the first contact with the CBP he opened the yellow envelope, took my fingerprints scanned my passport and asked me to follow him to another room. Once in the room he handed my documents over to other CBP who revised all the documents, In this room I stayed for about 10 min. until I was called and asked if we have a date set for the wedding, I said sometime in march, not specific date yet, that was the only questioned asked. He stamped my passport and wrote down a date, as it is been done when entering with a tourism visa.  Bear in mind that our flight arrived at 04:45 not a busy time, this was my first time at DFW, I did  not know how big the airport was, so I believe that during rush hours It might take longer.

Just got an email from USCIS that our case status changed and that on November 1, our case was approved. Thanks for the notice USCIS! Only 45 days too late.

All you need to submit DS-160 is the USCIS number better known as the WAC number which is the WAC #. You can use WAC or NVC case number or you can leave it blank. It doesn't matter for K-1's.
 
The DS - 160 is a document that stands alone. It does not require a "fee" to submit.  It does not affect anything. It does not need to be finished to do anything else but needs to be completed for the interview and it can be completed between now and the day before your interview. You can't use it to find any information about your case. You can't use if for anything other than for its original intent and that is for the CO to use during your interview to adjudicate your case. The only exception is that some Embassy's require you to complete it and send them the confirmation number and then they will allow you to schedule the interview. The one embassy I know off the top of my head is Japan requires it before scheduling. Check your P3 letter. I think I have given it to you @Smashy. If not let me know as I have a copy for MTL.

I had kind of given up on checking my mailbox everyday to not drive myself crazy, but over the weekend we got the letter from USCIS!
I've been quietly stalking this thread for months and have come to really appreciate this community. I hope that we will all be with our fiancés soon.   

Hi everyone! Does updating both petitioner and fiancé's email address at https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html work? Is it just as fast as calling NVC to know if they received the case/assigned the number/sent it to the embassy? Do we still need to call or just wait for the email from them? 
Apologies if somebody already asked a similar question. Just wondering if calling is still the best way to get updates. I usually prefer emails 😂

Just wanted to give some info on our experience. We received NOA1 via email on May 23. I signed up at myUSCIS (my.uscis.gov) about a week ago and added our case number to my account.
 
I received an email Friday, November 16 titled "We have taken an action on your case," then once I logged into myUSCIS it said that we were approved!! However, both the case status checker and the app haven't updated our case status yet. I also did not receive a text message.
 
We received the physical NOA2 in the mail today, November 20.
 
I just wanted to let anyone still waiting know that you should sign up at myUSCIS. As others have said, it seems to be the most up-to-date.
