We just got our appointment notice in the mail for AOS July 10th. Much faster than I thought it would be <3

My case status just changed to "Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview" today. Let's hope it's soon...

I strongly advise to drop everything and head to SSA office right now and apply for SSN today!, it is still early in CA. SSN is the most vital document  you will have outside of EAD/GC that will not come until months later, and you only have a very narrow window to apply for it.

Biometrics: May 14, 2019
NOA2: May 21, 2019
Interview Scheduled: June 28, 2019
 
So interviews are already being scheduled for this group!!!!!!!!!!!

We got the notice in the mail today that our interview has been scheduled for June 25th!!! Under 3 months since we applied for AOS. I'm so excited, shocked and amazed it happened this quickly. 
 
We are being processed from the Lawrence MA office, which I thought was going to be a bad thing since they probably have less resources as a smaller office. WRONG
 
Our timeline:
Married 4/12/18
AOS mailed: 4/9/19 
AOS delivered: 4/12/19
NOA1 4/19/19
Notice to have biometrics done: 4/26/19
I-693 courtesy notice: 4/30/19
Biometrics appointment: 5/14/19
Notice that interview was scheduled: 5/24/19
Interview scheduled for: 6/25/19
 
Extremely excited but nervous for the interview. Got my fingers crossed for everyone else who applied in April! 

Biometrics done and dusted yesterday. Nice change from everything else lately and it was no lines, no waiting, in and out in 10 minutes 🙌🏻

We received our Biometrics appointment letter today in the mail our appointment is scheduled for May 24, 2019 another step closer! 🤗🤗🤗 

Received the biometrics appointment (May 24) notice in the mail yesterday (April 24 received date for AOS package, April 30 date on the NOA1). One more step checked off! 

So, I just called USCIS and spent 45 minutes on the phone waiting for an agent to answer and got an update.

My case was received on April 16th (even though they were delivered April 9th) and I got all receipt numbers and should have the physical copy before the May 16th.

Today is definitely a good day!

hi we have the same state. im still waiting for biometric app. its still early for me because i filed it april 24. 

Maybe this "discussion" between these 2 parties can be done in messages because it's turning this thread into a "peeing match". I would unfollow but I am wanting be updated on AOS files for April. Thanks y'all.

oh, you are Seattle too! assuming you have to go to the same place for the biometrics get there maybe 30 minutes before the appointment time. even though we get appointment times they don't work it like that. you turn up at your alloted time, fill out a little form then the lady will give you a number and call people up to wait in the next room. good luck!

We just got mail for biometrics appointment on 5/16/19

I have a submitted date of April 1st and today I've received a notification to say that my case is ready to be scheduled for an interview! 
 
Had my biometrics on the 23rd, as well
 
Is it normal for things to be moving so quickly, or will it slow down now?

My credit card was charged! It looks like they finally got to the pile of applications from April 12th (I noticed we all had the same delivery day)! I've never been so happy to have a $1200 charge appear on my card...

Posting an Update for anyone who may be, or will be in a similar situation:
 
we sent our application by FedEx and it was delivered on 4/12 and until today we had heard absolutely nothing from USCIS and we basically been in a mini panic mode over the last week or so. we called multiple times but were told to just keep waiting and be patient because it could take 45 days to hear from Uscis after sending an application. 
 
Today was day 18 of Waiting for acknowledgement from Uscis of our application so we decided to call again.... for the 3rd time. 
 
 
Today while I was at work my wife called USCIS and they told her that since today was day 15 (business days) since we sent application, they will create a "service request" to look into the package matter and request receipt confirmation from the lockbox office. 
 
They said the service request takes up to 15 days to be responded to and to call again if we don't get a resolution or hear anything within 15 days (May 15th)
 
 
Later that night (today at 11:24 pm CT), we got 6 text messages from USCIS with 3 MSC confirmation/receipt numbers telling us that they received our application and that we will receive a letter in the mail. (Check hasn't been cashed YET... but will probably happen soon) 
 
I don't know if this was because of the call we made today or this was already in the pipeline to happen, but we are just glad that we can officially join the AOS train. Hope our experience helps someone.

Just got out from my Biometrics Appointment now the waiting game begins for real, can’t wait to get My EAD combo package lol I know it will take long but we are one step closer.

Received NOA in mail today dated April 23. The cheque was processed April 24. To those still waiting, I hope you hear something soon!
