EliAnon reacted to joeyme in NVC to US Embassy in Manila
Wow! I just found this site and good thing I followed my guts and just proceed to the next step as per indicated by Hanks! It's good to know I did the right thing. Just waiting for my actual interview date and praying the consul will approve my visa.

EliAnon reacted to Hank_ in Adopting wife's children in Philippines? (split)
Adopt in the USA .. I am sure it will be much easier than in the Phils. Even the embassy has some very strict requirements for accepting the foreign adoption in the Philippines .. 1- living there for two year with the children.

EliAnon reacted to Cyberfx1024 in US stops issuing new H-2A/H-2B work visas to Filipinos
Trust me my asawa is not happy about it at all either. If she wasn't a family member then my wife wouldn't have anything to do with her due to that. Not to mention she still owes us over $800 and there is no way she would be able to pay that while living in Pinas.

EliAnon reacted to Hank_ in USC Father wants to get sole custody of my 5 year old daughter in Philippines and bring to USA
You don't have half custody of the child, you could have some sort of rights, but you don't without a court action. The mother has sole custody of the child.
Basically you can't do jack-S*
I commend you for caring for your daughter ..

EliAnon reacted to Hank_ in Bag
Why so much paperwork? Documents for evidence don't take up that much space. You need copies of your most recent tax return, W2 & I-134 (and the embassy most likely won't ask this stuff), you need relationship evidence - just a page or two from every month if you chatted, FB or whatever, then 4 -6 pictures of the two of you, CENOMAR, BIRTH CERTIFICATE, NBI (+foreign police certificate if you lived in a foreign country) . That is about as exciting as it gets. And of course a copy of your DS-160 confirmation and you original deposit receipt for the visa payment at BPI. That is it...
If you want to bring a rolling file cabinet I guess you can, just no electronics of any type.

You misread that the OP did not say 250pages total but 250 pages for every month.
Do away with the chat pages because they will not be looked at at all with even 45 pages. Pictures, receipts and maybe 5-10 pages of chats if you really want to bring them.

EliAnon reacted to payxibka in Hotels near US Embassy, Philippines
They are near each other.
Hotel Soriente is 200 feet from slec. Nothing fancy but clean, what do you expect for $28.
Red planet is nearer to embassy than slec. New hotel property. Her stay is tomorrow night.

EliAnon reacted to payxibka in I134 form question - Employment
Well meeting the 125% poverty level isn't hard for most petitioners in the PI, unless of course you are the oddball 25 year old.
Couldn't resist
