I live here in the Philippines.  Whenever I need to go to the U.S. Embassy I stay at Best Western La Corona.  Nice and clean and free breakfast buffett, decent wifi.  5 minute walking distance from the Embassy.

Does your card have the Visa or Mastercard emblem on it?  Then it can be used as a CC.

I really love Hotel H2O.  It is in the Manila Ocean Park and walking distance to the Embassy.  It is probably pricier than other places in the area but I love the whole wall aquarium and the restaurants there are awesome.  The massages are worth a try too.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

Lots of dirty and nasty hotel in the Ermita area, I have stayed at many of them.  And most are over priced.

I found a new one called RedPlanet at Manila Bay, you can see the USEM from the Window It is literally across the street.

Join RedPlanet Club and get 10%, so I paid 1800 piso per night.  I would rank this hotel heads and shoulders above the rest in the area, and for the money it's a great deal.

All new rooms, Split Type Air Con, Raf (Fridge) in the room, Large CR with excellent shower and with rain shower head, hair dryer included, Excellent beds.  Very friendly staff and there is a restaurant/bar attached that is open 24/7.

Location is also excellent for this area, It is like 20 stories tall with RedPlanet at top so it is easy to find if you walk a lot, which I do.

It is only 3 blocks from Robertson Mall, and one block from Cowboy Grill,  Which is one of my favorite night spots in the area.

Hello when did you do your medical exam? Thanks

You would do better to start a new topic rather than hijacking an unrelated post .. you will get quicker answers.

Medical exam can be completed as close as the day before the interview.

Im not hijacking any unrelated post. It's a question for @JVG and looking for a direct answer from them. We have the same timeline so I would just like to compare the days of process.
