Adopting wife's children in Philippines? (split)

I want to adopt my fiancee's children.  What are the steps, while here in Philippines or later in USA.  Probably three years here first. We won't file fiancee visa til next year or end of this year.

Google "stepparent adoption + your state of residence."  It's easier for a stepparent to adopt in the US.

Adopt in the USA .. I am sure it will be much easier than in the Phils.   Even the embassy has some very strict requirements for accepting the foreign adoption in the Philippines ..  1- living there for two year with the children.

It seriously might take you 3 years to even get your case heard in the Philippines. So just do it in the USA and you will be fine.
