I don't think people are anxious to get 'back home.' Changes can be difficult, especially if they come all at once and immigration imposes more restrictions to your new life, even if it's temporarily.  We are all in the same process but we come from different cultures and backgrounds. Good for you that you haven't felt homesick! 

I didn't get it either haha.
But what I did get was my interview letter!
Interview is the 8th of January, submitted my AOS application the 26th of august or something like that. 
I was going to ask about the flu shot, but you're not required to get one if your medical wasn't in flu season, right?

Yaaayyy my I-765 status changed to new card being produced. Finally after 133 days.

I got a notification today that my interview was scheduled! 🎉🎉 can’t wait to get the notice to see when it’s gonna be 😍

Correct and the EAD/AP is processed at the National Benefits Centre so input that as the selection when using the above link.

UPDATE: I got approved for EAD
 
my receipt date/PD JULY 27
NOV 12- called congressman for help with expedite and they helped me write my letter and I signed the paperwork/gave offer letter
 
NOV 14- Congressman emailed that they sent the expedite 
 
NOV 21- USCIS emailed congressman that expedite was processed, will make a decision in 30 days
 
NOV 27- APPROVED
 
Dec 1st- I got the approval letter now waiting for the EAD
 
Good luck everyone!! I can’t believe the expedite was so easy and I am so thankful for our congressman and I can work!! If you have an offer letter you should contact the congressman!

As promised, here's the review.
 
So our appointment was at 9am in Down Town San Diego. We arrived half an hour before. 
Pretty standard airport style security check. 
 
My husband and I waited approx 20 minutes before my name got called.
 
We were asked to swear and oath which was expected.
The officer was extremely nice and chill. Firstly she asked questions about our relationship, our travels and basically our whole story.
Where we met, how often I fly to the United States and how often my fiance used to visit me back in London. 
She then asked for our wedding and other photos. 
 
I had our photos printed at Walmart ( initially I was concerned because I know that they wanted everything to be in a binder but she was fine with regular photos). 
 
She then asked for some information in relation to the original application, just verifying everything like our address, my name, date of birth, city I was born etc. 
 
After the questions she told us she is happy that we have a bonafide relationship. 
Unfortunately, it was not all good news.
 
She mentioned to me that it's all approved ( in theory ) however, because of the fact that my medical examination from the sealed packet from my point of entry was not in the case file. She cannot approve it just yet. 
 
I was like, but that's impossible the CBP officer has approved my entry and she said I know. Normally if something is missing in the envelope you will not be allowed in. 
 
However, she promised me that she will do everything she can took look for it which put my mind at ease. 
The officer said don't worry, I will find it and if not worst case scenario. I'll just do another medical.
 
I know this delay can be annoying, but in my head I'm just thinking that my EAD is still on process so in the event that this delay lasts for more than 90 days then I know I can still work and start our lives together. 
 
I'd like to say I am not stress or bothered about this but I am. However it is what it is.  I'll just pray and have faith that they will find it. 
 
So just to conclude the interview is fairly easy specially if you have nothing to hide. Show some emotions, show the officer how much you love your spouse and everything will be fine.

So i had my AOS interview today and was approved on the spot. The interviewer was really sweet and didn't ask us weird questions. I would count this as by far the best immigration interview i have ever attended, it was like friends having a conversation and didn't last up to 10mins. She said she was very impressed with the way our application was filed and asked if we did it ourselves, my hubby responded and said yes majorly me and she told me i did a great job. and she went ahead to tell me the benefits of the card and when to file to remove conditions and also congratulated us on on bun in the oven 😍
 
Anyway one thing i can say is just relax, they aren't interviewing to deny more like trying to just go through what you answered in your I-485 application. Goodluck to everyone else waiting and if you have any question regarding the interview, i'll be glad to answer.

I feel you. Not being able to work makes this change more difficult for me. Married life has its challenges and its harder to cope when you don't have much to do during the day and your friends and family are not around.

whoop whoop - mail today has AP and EAD I believe (per USPS informed delivery - a must have when you are constantly waiting for stuff like this!)!

Things are moving along!

No EAD in this thread as far as I've seen. Some of us are lucky enough to have our greencard interview real soon. I think I might have my greencard before the EAD and AP. 
 
I'm preparing like crazy for the interview. Got all the paperwork ready (everything you already had for the k1/interview/ao sapplocation plus evidence) but I'm freaking out. So is my husband. We live in a rather anti immigration part of the country. Very Trump minded (sorry, not starting an argument, just setting the mood). He even left me at home when voting cause he didnt want to risk me, an immigrant,  getting caught in any arguments or, heaven forbid, riots out there. (I thought he was a tad over reacting but I love how protective he is of me). 
 
Anyway. Interview is up in a little over 2 weeks and I'm so nervous...

I have seen a lot of July filers receiving their EAD/AP cards.... it looks like our turn will be next month....

1.  "In case of emergency need"
2.  No one knows for sure.  Check the various processing-times.
3.  If you don't have an Advance Parole document, you can leave the U.S. but not be let back in.
4.  Unclear question.
The above have all been asked and answered many times in various threads.  If the answers above and your reading fail to provide satisfactory information, please start a new thread.

You can do your own AOS no need for a Lawyer. You have VJ folks who can help you along the way.

No email, no app, nothing on the old website, only new website. They approved it a week before my VJ estimate (June 22-June 27) so have hope that yours is coming sooner than later!! 
 

That's unbelievable! My fiancé and I were considering an attorney for AOS but it is very expensive for our current situation, and there is no guarantee that they will do it perfectly. I think they are more prone to make mistakes because they are not emotionally invested as we are, I mean it is our future on their hands... I remember putting my OCD to good practice by checking the I-129f form over and over again. I don't think an immigration attorney would do that for my case.
