Yes you should be studying and preparing for the test. It will be given at the interview nothing changed it was always like this.
 
 

Yes positive, I do not have to have the biometrics done, I recieved a letter a week after submitting saying they will use my initial biometrics

I downloaded it yesterday and have been studying. Thank you. I didn’t realized it had changed which is why I was confused. I thought you took the test then a few weeks after had the interview. I’m glad I checked! 

I agree with those who said to get an I-551 stamp in your passport.....

Schedule an info pass appointment at USCIS.gov and visit your USCIS local field office with your passport so they can stamp it with a temporary I-551 stamp. This stamp will serve as evidence of your lawful permanent resident status for all intents and purposes such as travel and employment while USCIS processes your I-90. Make sure you carry proof of having filed an I-90 though for a replacement of your green card.

I would make an appointment at your local USCIS office and inquire there.

Yes

We filed in May 2017 and We didn't include an intent to marry and got a RFE around in Oct 2017. We submitted the letters straight away and it put our timeline back 1 month.

We were wanting to get married on 1st April, The day he proposed and my interview is 12th March so obviously if all goes well I'd be in country maybe a few days before the first leaving me.enough ime to apply for our marrige licence. But may not have enough time to get a SSN first as I'm not actually sure how long it takes to get one.
 
Obviously if I need to get a SSN first we will push our wedding back weve not booked anything and the woman who is going to conduct our elopment is flexible on dates so we don't have to plan anytging.

Thanks sooo much I did a little research for the drivers license in my state and it states a current US VISA is valid then under it says green card... so I’m hoping they will accept my K1 visa for now anyway. I’m going to go check but nEed to change my name on my SSN first so my DL is in my married name. 
 
I freaked out thinking I had to pay the 1225 then the 400 off for the EAD.

I have a few questions 
 
I entered the US on 21 March 2018 on K1 visa, Married 1 April 2018 and I am now getting ready to file for AOS, EAD and AP. 
 
I got a SSN a few days after I entered the states, now I am married should I go and change my name or shall I wait for my green card to come through?
how much does it all cost to file for all 3? 
how long are the current processing times?
 
(off topic) has anyone got a Driving Licence yet and is driving on it? if so how did you provide proof of residency? I only have 10 days left that I can drive on my British Licence in Arkansas... I can't cope without a car as my husband travels a lot and I need to get around.

Tell me about it. I'm moving on wednesday picked up my passport today with the VISA in  so its not onto AOS for me once we get married.

I finally had my isued status... Hopefully next week I will be at the POE I'M sooo happy this part is nearly over.
