10 months before noa2 right here. over 1 year to interview... some are just unlucky

inquiries are useless. they said my case would be adjudicated in 45 days... several times. the good news they get to everyone eventually and in my experiences being the very very last of an entire month it seems the very last are all approved. what sucks is watching people who applied 5 months after you fly through to approval before you while complaining about the length of process to boot. its all relative, and relaxing is the only healthy option for mind and body. this process can literally end strong relationships and make you sick. you have to gain acceptance or it will drive you to bad places. keep in mind if your really unlucky you could have 5 more months to go, prepare for the worst, daily fretting compounds your mental situation

Id email the embassy. We are May filers, my fiancé had his interview on February 5th, we were approved according to the CO then put into AP. He is still in AP, we’ve completed the DS5535 and the mbassy is now telling us it could be months before the visa is issued. I hope you guys get the visa soon and can travel back together, but I’d send an email for peace of mind!

I totally dont understand how they let you attend an interview knowing they would deny you regardless... why the hell did they approve your application, any thoughts? cruel pricks : /

Everyone freaked out BECAUSE of an administration that's perceived as less friendly. Everyone's trying to secure their status before any real major restrictive policy changes are made and then enforced.

My opinion, don't consider time or money, just what is most likely to end in approval. As far as i understand CR1 would simplify your application, less complications is better I think. This really is a Rose question though about what she picks ; )

Nah.  That is usually caught at the drop box.  You made it under the radar.  It shouldn't impact you now.  The info is basically the same but they eliminated the 325 form and incorporated that right into the petition.

As John knows I had something as well which was expunged and I completely forgot about it since it was both long ago and also expunged/removed from my record. I remembered it some point after I filed my I-129 and was a bit concerned I did not include it. 
 
Turned out to be no issue for me, I believe it may depend on the type of act committed. Mine was rather minor 
 
Note: I did not answer yes to 4A and maybe was lucky to have no issue. 
 
Also wanted to add I asked the female officer on a date when she was cuffing me. Didn't work out to well and I don't recommend anyone doing that. 
 
 
 

look at your original I129f  It only asks about convictions not arrests. its changed now but you didnt sign an application that had any false info then. you might actually be able to fight this. they are confused thinking you applied under the current I129f application.

Visa Approved !!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
After nearly 1 year of stress and many tears (may 5th 2017 filer) I was finally approved at Sydney Embassy on Tue !
after having our file lost, having to re do a whole new petition, under AP for a total of 11 weeks after First Noa2 in October 2017 , I really am in disbelief our visa is already on its way to me. 
Tue 24th interview 
Thursday 25th issued and collected for delivery. 
My tracking number says I will receive today. 
3 days from start to finish !
the gods were smiling down on us for the first time in this crazy journey 🙏
POE is 7th May, so spending my last week saying goodbye to my family and be very thankful !

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! Yes, we have endured so much together and we are both just at the end. Me on Friday and you on Monday!!!! I will be available while abroad so if you need to reach out to me, just send me a PM or post here and I'll respond, I keep my phone accessible while traveling abroad because my son still has to be able to reach me while I'm away.
 
I will definitely post the results of our interview as soon as we walk out the embassy. In my heart, I know that we will be okay, we've made it this far which is why I said I'm not gonna change our interview date. Just gonna pray the medical is at the embassy before we get there and if not, hopefully it will get there by Monday/Tuesday of next week so they can process his visa and we can fly home together. But I will do my best to stay as long as I can so we can fly home together because we won't be back to Jamaica for a while afterwards. But I believe that God has this all worked out so there's no point for me to worry or stress anymore about it!!!
 
I will be checking up on you on Monday to hear the good news because we are still riding this train together!!!!
