Ready for something VERY bizarre? On a whim I called NVC. Tomorrow will be 2 weeks since NOA2. They received my petition today AND assigned it a number!!!!!! In one day my petition was received and assigned! NOW this is getting real!

Atti and I are approved!!!!! 🍾🎊🎉❤️ I was eating lunch when I got a text update on my cell and I almost choked on my salad. I cried and my legs are still shaky... this was 45 minutes ago...

Our AOS packet finally was delivered today - after sending it Priority Mail a week ago with an expected delivery of Wednesday, USPS seemed to misplace it and it floated around Chicago for a while. Let the long wait begin!

Came in the mail this morning!
Had taken the gamble and already booked my flight 2 weeks ago seeing that I have time left here because of work. But now with VOH I can for sure say that my POE at LAX will be April 11th!

Guys,
My visa is approved today at Dar es Salaam embassy...I am so happy...
Can't wait to collect my passport on next Wednesday.
I am wishing everyone to get to end of this process, it's stressing at beginning but exciting at last.

Hey everyone,
Sorry I haven't been on lately, its been a whirlwind!
I was POE on Tuesday, and non-stop since so I haven't had any time to read. I did notice that @John & Rose had some news though so congratulations!!!
I'll post about my POE later today, but right now, I'm having bacon and eggs cooked for me by my amazing fiance, and going today to apply for my SSN, and maybe open a bank account so I'll post about it all tonight.
I hope everyone is well, and remember... the end of this part of the journey is coming, if not already here for you, and 100% its all worth it once you're here and happy.
