So, Michelle just called NVC for the first time. was on hold for 1 minute. talked to a guy that told her to click 5, because we're one of their "special electronic system".. so she did. and we immediately got our case number. I am SO confused. people here are calling every day and asking to talk to supervisors and stuff.. and we just get it within 5 minutes? We must be well lucky

hmm.. the approved doctor is very far away from me, but it's in the same city as the place of the interview. Does anyone know if you can do the medical exam on the same day / one day before the interview? Then I wouldnt have to go all the way twice. But I wonder if there needs to be a gap in between for results to be ready?

I hate that this is sll so complicated lol.. i dont know when to pay how much and where to.. rip

I would love to check, but it won't let me lol I can't click into the dropdown for "Field Office or Service Center" .. and if I try to let it show my status anyway it says missing field office info.

We got a silent noa2 btw. Website still says received.

The airline (Norwegian) put her onto a flight from a different airline (HIFLY) on thursday. She has two options: take that flight instead or get a full refund.

She was going to fly into Paris, because the flight was half the price than flying directly into Germany. I got a rental car and booked a hotel. We lost the money for both of these now ($250), because you don‘t get money back if you cancel your reservation less than 24 hours in advance.

If she took the flight on thursday instead I‘d have to pay another $250 to get the hotel and rental car again. Plus petroleum. So we‘d be paying ~$700 for two-three days less. And it‘s just too expensive for the little time we would get. So we were looking for flights from tonight/tomorrow until the day she leaves to see if that‘d be cheaper in the end, but that‘s even more expensive.

So our only option is probably taking a refund and waiting for our NOA2.. I just really wanted her to meet my family before I leave to be with her.

I'm devastated and can't stop crying... Michelle was supposed to fly over to me tonight. And her flight got cancelled. And all other flights are either 24 hour travel time or over $2000 .. So I guess we are cancelling .. I can't.. My heart hurts. 

They didnt touch our date but the day before and after. Just our luck. 

Michelle is coming to visit on tuesday <3 praying for a surprise NOA2 while we‘re together.

I‘m asking, because 3-4 years is a long time. And the process is very expensive.. 

I have a feeling naes will get her noa2 on the 21. mark my words.

‚If your relative is either a K-1 fiancé(e), a K-3 spouse, or a K-2 or K-4 child of fiancé(e) or spouse, you do not need to submit an affidavit of support at the time you file your Form I-129F petition. Instead, you should submit an affidavit of support at the time that your fiancé(e), spouse, or child adjusts status to permanent resident after coming to the United States.‘

but on the consulate website here on the page it says on the list of things we need for the interview: 

‚7. EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT (original completed form with original signature): Evidence which will show that you and your children, if any, are not likely to become public charges in the United States. If an affidavit of support is submitted, form I-134 should be used. Should extra copies be required, the I-134 may also be downloaded directly from the �Forms� page on the USCIS website: www.uscis.gov.‘

.. so do we need sn affidavit of support or not? Lol.. i‘m so confused with what the steps are after the noa2

Can someone explain to me why people call every day? I feel like calling every day will just make them work extra slow on your cause they get annoyed.
