Nicey&T got a reaction from Jason and May in help vaccination "Do you have documentation to establish that you have received vaccinations in accordance with U.S. law? "
Technically, you can tick 'yes', because one you do your medical, you will get all the required vaccines.

But personally, I answered it completely honest and said "No", then it gave me a box to explain, so I said, "I will get all the required vaccines to be inaccordance with US law at my medical examination".

It didn't affect my application, so, the choice is really yours.  Hope I helped

Yes, you've gotten married twice. Your previous and your current.

thank you everyone for your replies. My fiance and I wanted to do a destination wedding back in his country in Sept 2019 but now am worried that will be cutting it close. If all goes well we will be getting married in Dec and we could submit for the other required documents in January, but we do not want to book for something or plan something and him end up not being able to travel and not be able to get back in the US. To say this process is anything other than stressful is an understatement. Thank you all.

"Asking for a friend". Always makes me laugh to see that.

I'm sure it will most likely be correct. But if it's not, don't play the system, just let them know. Your potential employers will also likely be using e-verify or something similar to make sure you are authorized to work, they're not going to go just based on what your SS card says.

Playing the system has consequences. Stay on the straight and narrow, even if an "opportunity" seems to present itself. It can really bite you later.

I wouldn't chance leaving the US before he at the very least gets his advance parole card. In some, not all, cases this seems to be taking more than 6 months.

Hey! I am back home from the trip. You were right, I didn't have any problems. They just looked at my passport and that's all. I had an amazing trip. Thanks for your advice.

Thanks for the advice. But Are yall serious? She lives in another country thats why i am here. I have 12 days vacation at the moment and can only feasably visit her 1 time a year.
Are you suggesting that I visit her once a year for 3 years then marry her?
I posted here for the process info and not for decision making advice whats best for me morally. I think im a pretty good judge of character.
How many times have you met your over seas fiancee before marrying him her? The requirement is once within 2 years correct? Is there an amount of time frame?  And have 90 days to wed.

Btw...if this girl is faking and insincere she should be in hollywood with an oscar award. I just dont believe that her and I are not being authentic. Im pretty much past teenage infactuations.

Let me state this in a different manner.

The less USCIS has to examine, the quicker they can approve the case right?

The older one is the more likely you are to have actions that increase the thickness of your case. Does that make better sense?

As I understand it the OP is the one going to be sponsored for the K1/CR-1 by a USC.  He returned to his home country over a year ago and is residing in the UK now.

The visa is good for 6 months after the date of your medical. To me, I wouldn't mess around with possibly losing the visa after all this waiting and is break my contract, but it's up to you what you choose to do.

He has been here as a J1 for a long time - there is nothing wrong about meeting your future spouse while being here. It's perfectly legal to AOS from other visas for spouses and he apparently met her quite a while ago and they have a stable relationship.  There is no reason to go back to his country. It is for situations such as this one that the AOS inside the country exists in the first place. He has fulfilled the requirements of his visa and done nothing wrong.

I don't know what kind of job you have but if I were in your situation I would just let my boss know that I won't have to take that day off and just come into work. That way it's not as bad if you need to take another day off once your interview is rescheduled. If questions are asked I'd explain the situation and I'm sure he'd understand.

No,not automatically. I heard of some not getting a ban or a lesser ban. It depends on the findings on the medical exam and the IO.
???  Wrong. CR1 does not better you chances or lessen your ban. The pros would be it costs less than K1 + AOS and he can work sooner.

    http://www.davismiles.com/in-person-interviews-to-get-a-green-card/

"Welcome to a new world. On August 28, 2017, USCIS issued a press release that describes the expansion of categories that will require in-person interviews to obtain a green card. The expansion includes green card applicants in employment based categories and relative petitions for refugees and asylees."

"An AOS applicant should expect the time frame to get a green card to be extended."
