Thousands of Mainland Chinese and Taiwanese women come to the US and Canada to deliver anchor babies. There is a whole industry behind it, from coaching ladies how to secure visa and entry to envading bills.  
 
Reminded me of one Taiwanese woman who already had two babies in America and coming here for the third and then went to labour whilst in the air, refused to give birth until plane entered alasaka airspace. 

Becoming a US citizen just confers a sense of stability, in terms of travel, I cannot see myself utilising US passport except when I return from abroad.
I reckoned for some nationals, US passport offers lots more travel freedom but it doesn't help much if you already have a powerful passport.
 
Going back home I can use my Hong Kong ID and entry is done in 5 seconds
 
Last year husband and I went to Greece, Turkey, Egypt, and Brazil. Where in Greece I could have entered with my UK passport at the EU lane ,  Turkey and Egypt both require landing visa for Americans but visa-free for Hong Kong passport. Brazil also requires US passport to lodge visa at their consulate but Hong Kong passport is visa-free. 
 
 

Becoming a US citizen brings no immediate benefit. I am not collecting social benefits nor will be standing for office. No major election coming up and even though, MA votes liberal anyway. 
Already have 2 passports which allow me access to many countries visa-free. so...

Doesn't make any sense. Deporting a permanent resident with petty offence is extremely rare and since you said you can in 2011 with a green card, then why is your wife filing an i130 now?
