Pavel1982 reacted to Crazy Cat in Immigration process for Parents
If she is a citizen, she can start the process now. It will likely take 1 to 2 years.

I recommend online filing for the I-130 petitions (2 total; 1 per parent): https://www.uscis.gov/i-130

Pavel1982 got a reaction from Danmuji in Interview experience in NYC
Only thing officer mentioned that he didn't like how names are short on those transcripts. He wanted to see full name of the applicant( as it showed on form)on tax documents.Every officer is different but if you have those available, i would definitely take them. Nothing to lose . I was lucky, i only had for one year but he let me go outside and print more and bring back to him

Pavel1982 reacted to Crazy Cat in N400 approved but I751 is still showing pending
Not an issue. Technically, the I-751 must be adjudicated prior to an N-400 approval. This sounds like a slow system update. Congratulations.

Pavel1982 got a reaction from Jenny15 in N-400 case denied -- can you help me?
As per website applicant needs to be here 30 month on 5 years. You are lucky. This is from uscis website
Physical Presence Applicants are required to show that they were:
Physically present in the U.S. for thirty months within the five year period before applying, or (see legal basis) Physically present in the U.S. for eighteen months within the three year period before applying in the case of qualified spouses of U.S. citizens (see legal basis)

Pavel1982 got a reaction from Dashinka in N-400 case denied -- can you help me?
I agree with you on this. Although in theory you can apply 90 days before but good idea to do bit later on to avoid any headache .I remember seeing another post where OP got denied because she applied 3 days early (mistook 90 days for 3 months)

Pavel1982 reacted to Crazy Cat in N-400 case denied -- can you help me?
You're right. I remember seeing the issue a few times. That is the reason I would always recommend filing a few days after the window opens.

Pavel1982 reacted to bing10 in N-400 interview while i-751 pending
Yes, you should definitely go with your wife, and there's no problem taking your daughter too. If anything it probably helps to show good proof of the marriage.

Pavel1982 reacted to Letspaintcookies in how to setup combo interview (N-400/I-751)
Nothing you can do. USCIS will set it up how they see fit.

Pavel1982 reacted to SusieQQQ in Question regrading Travel Outside of USA for last 5 years
No, the point of doing the addresses etc is to reconcile meeting the physical presence and continuous residence requirements for naturalization. So putting jobs and addresses down prior to when you actually lived in the US is pointless and meaningless. It’s nothing to do with background checks.
As above. Pointless and confusing for the purposes of N400. The addresses required are for the relevant period of residency in the US that count towards naturalization. We have seen countless posts of people who have filled in 3 years and been successful. Alerts do not stop you submitting the form and the interviewing officers know what is needed.

Pavel1982 reacted to HNZ91 in Question regrading Travel Outside of USA for last 5 years
It is confusing but I don’t think you can only mention 3 years for education/ employment or addresses just because you are filling under 3 year rule . You will see an error because there will be a gap . I don’t know how that will be looking like when you review your application before submitting I just think that will show a red or at least a yellow alert
my understanding is you still can submit it with some errors but that can delay it so why? . Just do your best to provide what they need

Pavel1982 reacted to SusieQQQ in Question regrading Travel Outside of USA for last 5 years
Actually, this is a good question at least as far as the online forms are concerned. There is no reason that they can’t code it differently depending what the response is for part 1, given that they already have online forms that don’t ask irrelevant questions/ask different questions based on previous answers.
Everything is 3 years if you are applying based on 3 years marriage to USC.

Pavel1982 reacted to Crazy Cat in Question regrading Travel Outside of USA for last 5 years
For the 3 year rule, you don't need 5 years' information.

Pavel1982 reacted to heenakumthekar33 in Restriction regarding traveling to different country before coming to US as new immigrant
Hi.
I am a K1 visa holder and will be traveling from India to France (Vacation with my fiancé) and would be directly flying from France to US right after. I faced no issues regarding this while applying for a Schengen Visa and do not think theres any such restriction.

Pavel1982 reacted to geowrian in Restriction regarding traveling to different country before coming to US as new immigrant
I don't see any issues. The only travel that might cause an issue is to certain high-risk areas that raise security concerns.
