SalishSea got a reaction from Crazy Cat in Filing taxes for 2020
Or on any tax return. Spouses are spouses, not dependents.

SalishSea reacted to Crazy Cat in Child with dual Canadian/ American Citizenship on DS160
American citizens do not need a DS-160 to enter the United States....nor do American citizens immigrate to the US.

You can't file for K1 as a lpr, you need to be a citizen

And the irony is that in that thread she lambasted the OP for making $2000 in a year through helping family members with cleaning and babysitting without work authorization. But is now asking for a way round the 2-year meeting requirement! Rules for thee...
There are a few very specific and unusual reasons where the 2-year meeting requirement can be waived upon request but “losing a visa” is not one of them. One or both of you will have to travel here, or to his country, or to a third country in order to meet in person. No other way round it.

The main thing to be scared of is a lifetime ban from the US for fraudulent misrepresentation.

So your plan was to lie to the embassy in order to move to the US and leave your husband behind?
If your husband is planning to move back to the US, it’s too bad he didn’t petition for you as soon as you married. You’d be well on your way to getting your visa in a legal fashion by now.
In your previous post the father of your twins was a boyfriend with whom our are no longer together and you were not married in May of last year. So what’s the truth? Have you been married to an American since 2017 and the twins are his or the father of the twins is a boyfriend that you split from?

You are required to tell the truth. You are no longer eligible for that visa, and to accept it under fraudulent circumstances could mean that you are barred from immigrating to the US entirely.

SalishSea got a reaction from Chancy in K1 Visa Proxy Marriage
Are you seriously asking if they care whether people have sex before or after marriage?
The requirement for the K-1 visa is that the marriage takes place in the United States. If you cannot comply with this, it is the wrong visa for you.
