  1. It is more than just knowing "which form to file." You need to read the guides and do your own research. It is a complicated process that you need to educate yourself about. Researching and becoming educated can help you to avoid pitfalls such as not realizing that green card holders cannot live outside of the US indefinitely
  2. I have been reading VJ for nearly 7 years, and during that time I've seen the I-129F processing times vary from 2-13 months, for various reasons. They simply fluctuate over time, and I wouldn't put too much stock into such announcements.
  3. You might get an RFE if you were not clear about the intent to marry in the statement. Like C. Cat said, it really is just meant to be a one-line "I intend to marry this USC" statement.
  4. We fully expect to wait at least two years. Sent our packet Nov/Dec of 2021, and on 12/29 got a message that fingerprints are being reused. Published average processing time for I-751 at NSC is 27 months.
  5. You may want to rethink this. Most people can't afford to be without a salary for several years. Also, you will want to consider the plan for your mother's health insurance, as she will not be eligible for medicare or an employer-based plan if she is coming over to be the babysitter.
  6. Intent from the original post was always to get help to undertake planned fraud.
  7. Yep. And USCIS/DOS has seen EVERYTHING with regards to attempted fraud. This tactic would not be new to them.
  8. OP, your FIL was arrested and imprisoned for NINE MONTHS in a foreign country. This is much bigger than yes/no answers to “have you ever been arrested” or criminal records from other countries. I don’t get why you’re downplaying it’s relevance to visa eligibility.
  9. Right. I’m starting to think perhaps OP is trolling here. I’d hope for the sake of humanity and the gene pool that it is not legitimately reflective of someone’s cognitive skills.
  10. So the plan is to do a fake marriage so that you can continue to live in the US and therefore be close to someone you love but who can’t stand to live with you?
  11. Really? Then why are you contemplating fraud to marry someone you don’t know or love, for a green card?
  12. You are clearly seeking help to commit immigration fraud, and this thread will soon be shut down.
  13. Not typically from high-fraud, high-risk countries like Algeria.
  14. The K-1 no longer has a speed advantage over the CR-1 (it did years ago). Also, processing times for work/travel auth and AOS are much longer than previously. Utah route is definitely worth your consideration.
  15. It sounds like you are planning for him to travel here on a non immigrant visa, marry, and adjust. This is 100% FRAUD. Do not do it. You already have the process of doing it legally, via K-1, in the works. Why do you now want to change that?
  16. Especially when we regularly see rejections of expedite requests for actual urgent/medical needs vs poor planning.
