Happy to say that I am now a US Citizen!

Interview was at 10:15, security was slow due to the Covid social distancing, once checked in I waited for about 10 minutes and was called in for my interview. They started out with the history questions, I got the first six correct so she moved on to the reading and writing portion. Then the interviewing officer verified my address, phone number, date of birth and social security number. Then we went through the Yes/No questions from the interview. She then told me that I was approved, administered the oath ceremony there and then and handed me a small US flag and my certificate of naturalization.

After applying for a passport and updating all the other fun stuff (driving license, registering to vote etc) the journey with USCIS is over! Very happy!

    My timeline for those interested:

2020/11/19 - Filed online (local office is Denver, CO).
2020/11/28 - NOA received in the mail.
2021/01/20 - Biometric reuse letter received in the mail.
2021/04/01 - Interview, Approved, Oath Ceremony and Certificate of Naturalization in hand.

Received the biometrics reuse letter on January 20th, checked online this morning and it finally updated in the documents tab.

Estimated completion is still showing August 2021.

Yep, absolutely nothing at all other than the initial case received notification.

USCIS online case tracker wasn't particularly useful during my removal of conditions either... 😂

Received a notice in the mail today stating that they will be reusing my biometrics (same notice I got during ROC). Online case status has not updated to reflect. Estimated case completion still shows as August 2021.

Sorry for the late reply! As I understand from reading the appointment notice, the only additional person allowed to attend interview is a translator if needed.

What is the point of getting responses on who might have received biometrics appointments out of the Nov 2020 filers? What good is that going to do for you, knowing all well that their dates and timing of events will have absolutely zero impact on your case or anyone else’s? What you’re going to end up with is data that is absolutely worthless to your case. You are not going to find the magic bullet you are looking for.

USCIS don't have any sort of algorithm to set particular dates for a certain portion of an immigration benefit... If you've got to the point of filing your N400 you'll know that nothing about USCIS is orderly. It's random, it's a waiting game. Each case is different to the next, you could file your case from the same zip code as someone else, on the same day. Their case might take 6 months longer than yours OR 6 months quicker than yours.

If there is one word to describe the USCIS processing order, it is random. I’m sure you’ve experienced it before with some of your other filings. Just browse through the other monthly threads and you will see folks who have submitted their applications months after some others are already done with the entire process while the others are still waiting on biometrics. You have a better shot at winning three consecutive PowerBall jackpots that you would trying to get a pattern on USCIS.

That’s the worst advice I’ve ever seen, when you jointly own an asset, it’s registered as such.

I just had my missing vaccinations done at Knightsbridge, cost a fair bit but it was easier and they can complete the form there and then - saves any hassle sending them documents from other entities.

I can't remember how much it was, was back in September of 2016 so I'd guess fee's have gone up by then too, call and ask - I'm sure they'll be happy to tell you over the phone how much it'll be as it's more revenue for them!

Just to add, it's usually up to the petitioner to prove they did not receive the interview notice. Not USCIS's deal to prove they sent it and it wasn't received etc.

It's why it's worth signing up for USPS Informed Delivery so you can see any mail coming.
