    Personally, I would use an international bank wire transfer. There are bank transfer fees, of course, but there is no official limit and there are no US taxes.

    An RFIE on the I-485 can place a hold on the Employment Authorization document. That is because the I-485 is the basis for an EAD. Once the RFIE has been cleared, process on the EAD would resume.

    Yes. Only the evidence of your status has expired. You are a legal resident until an immigration judge says otherwise.

    Ask the landlord how he is raising the rent after only 6 months of a 1 year lease? Maybe it is a mistake by him/her. According to what you posted, he cannot raise the rent until June 30th, 2024.

    If you are filing the I-131 in conjunction with the I-485, there is no fee. Include a copy of the I-485 receipt. Make sure you sign everything as required.

    All cases are different. It's only been 4 months....You are well within the published normal processing time.

    This is proof that a visa is not actually approved until after the interview has taken place, administrative processing is done, and the status has changed to "Issued". Hopefully, the visa will be issued very soon.

    If you have a valid Green Card, you will not need another document for work authorization. You will, of course, need a SS card. You got lucky...no interview. Congratulations.

    We dumped him before the interview....then did Removal of Conditions and Citizenship ourselves.

    In January of 2017, we received an "RFE" from NVC due to an attorney error. That was after 12 weeks of NVC processing. After the attorney sent the missing documents, it took ANOTHER 12 weeks to get a "case complete" email. Yes, our case was at NVC for 24 weeks. I hope things are better now.
