Can you post again with just the relevant immigration information? Where is she in the immigration process?

There is nothing that you can do to make it easier. Mother in law applies for the visitor visa on her own showing stronger ties to her home country than the US (daughter and new grandchild).

This is a do it yourself site, so not a lot of attorneys used. It is a straight forward process that a person with a bit of patience and attention to detail can complete. That being said, there are services that will help you with the filing. That may be your best option if you don't want to handle your petition yourself.
But please read through the Guides here on VJ to familiarize yourself with the process and so that you can prepare / obtain the needed documents to be submitted by yourself or whomever you pay to send the documents in to USCIS.
Plan on the process taking about a year from start to finish.

Divorce and move on. You cannot withdraw your sponsorship. Immigration is not what you should be concerned with now. Being safe is the top priority.

    File through the Texas lockbox.

You would have to present sufficient evidence to USCIS/ICE of your spouse's fraudulent activity. You can't just make a claim and let it go.
Best is to divorce and move on. Consult a family law attorney to learn about custody rights. Kicking the ex out of the country to make it easy isn't likely to happen.

That just her Visa. When she enters the US and CBP enters processes her they will enter that she gets a 10 year green card.
You started the process as a CR1 and it just stays like that but green card issuing comes most time correct.
Just be sure to have marriage license in hand at POE and remind CBP you are pass your 2 year.
And if for some odd reason 2 year instead of 10 year green card arrives easy to correct send back with the I-90 form or make a Infopass and drop off and correct card will arrive.
No this will not effect her entry into the US. She needs a Visa to enter she has that you are fine.

Your K1 file is not your Adjustment of Status file. New process, new documents required. Some will be the same as the K1.
The letter you received is made up of generic statements that include things such as the translation reminder.
Often times submitting the vaccination supplement is enough when filing for Adjustment of Status. That would not have been in the sealed envelope.
USCIS sends files to centers all around the country to even out the workload so files don't sit too long at very busy centers. Don't sweat where it's being processed, be glad that you are in the mix.
30 days seems right for the RFE, it keeps the file moving rather than waiting for you to respond. How is that "nervy"?

You've read some information that I wouldn't put much stock in. Many VJ members do as you have indicated (small civil then larger celebration later). "They" don't look for a large production because it's difficult to plan.
Submit evidence of your relationship to present day. A desginated engagement day is not required. Just tell your story and supply evidence of time spent together.

Anh map got a reaction from TBoneTX in Does USCIS lose paperwork that causes an RFE?
They are looking for a divorce decree with the stamp or seal from the clerk of courts.
Similarly they are likely looking for a separate document showing the beneficiary's divorce.
I would suggest the you dismount from your high horse and obtain a different style copy of your divorce decree (if it exists) and submit that. If it's not possible then include a cover letter that explains what is issued in your state. Also in the cover letter explain / point out that the beneficiary's court adds the divorce decree to the marriage certificate. Be sure that the copy that you submit has a complete translation attached.
Perhaps your documents were misplaced. Or perhaps they are not in a common format. Keep the big picture in mind (obtaining the visa) and send in what's needed.
Also, posting exactly what the RFE says can be helpful as other members may have had exactly the same issues. The details are important. Scan the RFE (block out the appropriate info) and post it here.

The affidavits really don't carry much weight. No one ever submits a bad one. No need to have it notarized if you choose to submit any.
No need for the LL letter to be notarized.

Anh map got a reaction from Unlockable in Spouse threatens divorce if I don't sign I-864a!
In general, in Vietnam the ties to the blood family are much stronger than to the marriage. The OP not signing the form means that the spouse "loses face" with her family. That is a big deal to most Vietnamese. So the OP is feeling the effects of this as the spouse wants to bring some other members over.
OP, if you are feeling that your wife's attention will shift away from you once the family begins to arrive, you are probably correct. You must consider all the "facts" and make the best choice for yourself. Most people don't respond well to threats. Your feeling are normal.
