However , after the interview, ceac was on administrative Processing for 3 days and my attorney sent NVC an email asking to y the case was on administrative Processing. They didn’t reply. On the 11th it went to ready for interview again . On 13th again it went to ready for interview. Now it hasn’t changed since than. Can anyone share experience and similar situation please please. I am going back to the US today without my husband. I need you all to pray for my family please I have a 3 yr old who needs his father .

I’m aware however in all honesty people like you and among others oddly NVC was able to see how long you waited in previous stages and you were able to get an interview fairly quickly . I’ve been w/my husband five years , ir1 , 14 months already waiting  yet I’m in a queue waiting with people whom were quickly approved yet we just so happened to be in the same time frame as far as CC and honestly I feel  that isn’t right . That’s just my unpopular opinion !

MAYBE because a lot of people applied.

I only get the date fast because not much people apply not even a hand full did at this time. I only found one person and they just get their case number last week.

    Smh I’m emotionally exhausted 😢.

literally started this 14 months ago

I stared 2015 but it really 2016, I said 2015 because I was waiting on a lawyer to start the process from May 2015-oct and I had to find another one Dec 2015, they end 2016 every thing got messy and so on.

today I am just waiting for July 30 to come so I can go for my interview.

just letting you know your not the only one who been doing this process a long time.

Hello VJ fam. I want to start by saying a big thank you to GOD and to all who supported me during this tedious journey. I'm thankful to God who made it possible for me to end this journey with a big smile.

My husband had his interview on 6/12/2019 at 8:30am in Yaounde Cameroon.

I went to support him through the process. we go there at 7am and we joined 2 long lines. Around 7:20am, an officer came out and said all immigrants on one line and dv lottery on another line. We adjusted according to our type of visa.

At the time of entry i was told i couldn't go with my husband but i could wait for him outside. He went in ard 7:45am and i waited for him outside.

    Long story short, my husband said once inside, he went through security and had to leave his bag at the front desk and just took his documents which he gave to an officer;

    2 passport photo

    Marriage Certificate

    Birth certificate

    passport

    police clearance

Sealed envelop from the clinic to proof that he did his medicals before interview.

    Album

After 2hrs 30mn his number was called around 11 30am. He said the CO was friendly.

My husband said he greeted him first and it started off smoothly......

The CO told him I know its your wife petitioning for you and my husband smiled and then Questions began

    When did we meet?

    When did we get married?

Do you know where your wife lives? (my husband said he responded by asking him, Do you want me to give you her address? and CO laugh and said no)

How and when did i come to the US?

    What's my profession?

Where does he intend to stay?

Congratulations you will receive your visa when we receive your medical results ( that was because my husband did his medicals 2days before the interview). They kept his passport and by next week he will be picking up his visa .

NB: the CO only looked at our album and nothing else. He did not ask for transcripts or whatsapp conversations or anything else.

Thank you to all VJ fam and Good luck to @nyokie  and every one else.

A little tip for those who are looking to file, please upload all documents when sending your Form I 130. Things will be smooth at the end.

LOVE YOU ALL😍😘 and GOD BLESS you!!

Now that is one nice smooth interview congratulations all the best to you both.

you still with him or you return back home?

You waited long enough during the NVC stage so it’s great that you already got an interview. Because some people got IL during the early morning I always woke up and checked my email. Yesterday was 1 month from CC and nothing. Kinda disappointed but I have a feeling I’ll get something early next week. Fingers crossing that it will be soon. And hope you guys have a smooth process.

A lot of people waited long at the Nvc and still waiting for their interview. Honestly it’s depend on how many people applied. Less people applied the fastest you will get an interview date. The more people applied the Longer You have to wait. Remember that. Not because you waited at the NVC long enough means you will get your interview day faster.

Yes hope you hear something soon.

Yayyyy! Congrats. You got an interview really quick after CC! You deserve it. Lol. Was the email time in America? Or your spouses time zone?

My time zone. His time zone is only a hour behind. Not everyone applied so it is not like other countries who have a lot of people applied. We don’t have a hand full. As y’all can see not much bahamas people on here and I just found one a week ago and they just get their case number Friday I think.

It is starting to become so very frustrating... I hear you!

As much as I was waiting for my IL, it turns out that my interview date will not be the mark of the (almost) end of the journey because I will not be able to schedule my medical before my interview anymore 🙁

I called the doctor last week to ask if I could please schedule my medical already eventhough I did not receive my IL yet and of course that was not allowed and on top of that they will be out of the office on holiday for 3 weeks starting June 24th... Only 1 doctor for the whole of my country and they can just close for 3 weeks without backup, that is ridiculous...

Even if I receive my IL with a great interview date now and have my interview soon(ish), I will not be able to call to schedule the medical until July 15th and the results will take 10 days. So that will mean no approval on the day of the interview and AP until they receive the medical results.

Sorry for the venting, just needed to get that off my chest!! :)

this is awful and not a good services at all. I am glad I was able to schedule my appointment even tho I don't have my Il. all I needed is to give them my case number.

Hi. For those who are getting vaccines done, is it because you don’t have your records of having them done or is the embassy still making you do the vaccines no matter? I have my old vaccination record but just trying to see whether I need to potentially budget that amount of money for the medical.

    Thank you.

the Embassy still need it, if you have your immunization Card and is completed you are good, just get the medical done
