Him complaining about you drinking milk - not reason enough to sue
Him not lending you his own car - not reason enough to sue
Him threatening to kick you out for not paying rent/food - not reason enough to sue
Him not paying your mother alimony - not reason enough to sue, besides that's between your mother and your father and doesn't involve you legally.

You say you want justice for everything?  Here's how you get your justice:

Continue working at HomeDepot (or wherever else)...pick up more hours, work weekends, whatever---gets you out of his house more too so less confrontation.
Save whatever you can, and cut spending on whatever you can.  Watch your spending on "extras" too.

Consider moving in with a roommate and pulling your own weight if/when you do (or else I'm sure the roommate will start to have issues with you as well).
Keep putting out resumes for a better job based on the skills you have, if HomeDepot isn't giving you the hours you need.  If you are in school, don't drop out.

Make the situation better for yourself by becoming independent of him.  The best revenge is living a better life than what someone else expected of you.

I think the OPs main issue is with the treatment of her father towards her.

To answer your question - what would you like to sue him for?  As stated earlier, the affidavit of support signed by your father is between your father and the government.  Not you and your father.  Your father did not agree to support you to a lifestyle that you believe you deserve.  Your father agreed to reimburse the government if you were to become a public charge.

The issue with the job is troubling.  It seems you must find a job that is close-ish to where you live, which can be limiting.  Can you ask your employer for more hours - as it seems you are working part time now?

How old are you?  I guess you may sue your father but is it worth the cost of court fees and a competent lawyer to do so?  Your energy and funds may be best put towards bettering your own life so you can stop relying on your father.

I am sorry for your situation. A  lot of immigrants come to America with high expectations and are disappointed when they get here.

    Good luck

About two weeks, yea, it seems like it. Yes, you can get married even if you don't have an SSN yet. Yes, you can get marriage license even without an SSN. If you get an SSN before getting married, you will need to use your maiden name. After getting married, you will have to go back and have a name change to your married name. OR, you can get married and then get an SSN and use your married name right away. So, will save you some trip to the SS office.

Yes, the sealed envelop when you get your visa.
I understand it could be overwhelming. But you'll be fine!
Let's see. When I first got here, a couple days after I went to SS office, but they said they didn't have my record yet. They told me to come back two weeks after. We got marriage licenses, we got married 9 days after I got here. We went to get SSN. I used my married name. I brought my passport and marriage certificate. (Check their website for more info/requirements). After you get married, gather all the requirements for AOS. When you apply for AOS, you can apply for EAD/AP at the same time. You can usually get the EAD/AP within 90 days.
    Just relax. You'll be fine!

    Congrats on your approval!
It may take a few days for your visa status on CEAC to go to ISSUED. Once it is issued, it may be ready for pickup in as early as 2 or 3 business days if you pick up at MOA. If it is delivered or you pick up at a different 2GO location I don't know how long that would be, but I know pickup at MOA is quickest. We waited 3 days after approval to get the visa issued, and another 4 days later we picked up the visa packet.
You can attend CFO without your passport, however you will still need to return to CFO to get the sticker in your passport. The requirements for CFO are listed here: http://www.cfo.gov.ph/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=2345:requirements-with-images&catid=110:frequently-asked-questions&Itemid=858

Dude chill out. I'm a June filer too and would I love for my petition to be expiated so I can move on with my life? Of course. No one is saying forget the previous filers who have not yet received their NOA2, but let's be honest. Everyone wants their petition to go fast as possible, not just filers who have waited a long time. Furthermore, the fact that in my opinion K1s from the Philippines are still being expiated and he happens to be a fliler with beneficiary from the Philippines, and other Filipino K1s are rolling pretty fast, he has every right to wonder if his will be too. Some of y'all previous filiers need to chill out with all the animosity towards more recent filers who want their petitions speed up just like you do. Just because you've had a long wait does not mean it's any easier for someone who is clearly going to have wait as long as if not longer than you. Madness. Nobody is trying to take your spot in this long line, like for real guy, good grief. . .

I agree with the above. There will always be waiting. You and your fiance should prepare for that.
For the time difference, when I was still in the Philippines, me and my fiance (now husband) had 13-14 hours difference. Someone will have to stay up, because when its night time here (US) its daytime in there (Ph). I had to designate one clock that shows the time here so I wont always have to ask. Eventually we got used to it.We had to sacrifice sleep and other things, so we can talk to each other and spend time on skype or viber etc. It was hard, but we got used to it. I guess you just really have to sacrifice or at least meet in between for it to work. You need to invest time and effort. But remember, if you truly love each other. Its all worth it.
I wish you a great journey

For the approval, no one can really say. Some get approved faster than the others, some take a while. But I see that you are from California, maybe if you sent your petition now you'll get approved soon since I have read here that their processing time is a lot faster, maybe you'll get approved before the end of her ultimatum. (Although, I dont understand why would she say that. I dont know. Maybe she is just not aware of the process and the processsing times, maybe you can research and read about it and explain it to her, maybe she'll understand. I understand its frustrating to be far away from your significant other).
    Good luck

Hi! I don't know about others, but based on our experience. I just printed a copy of my letter of intent, signed and dated it and scanned and emailed it to my fiance (now husband), he then printed it out, and that what he submitted with our petition and it went fine.
But maybe to be on the safe side, maybe he could ask her to send you the originals. For me though, its not that cheap to send stuff from there to here (US), but maybe its worth it.
Anyway, i think it would be helpful if he will also try to use this site. He can still use government sites too, to compare or clarify stuff, thats what we did. This site and the people here has always been helpful. Im sure he'll learn from here too

    Big Big Congratulations!
And by the way I just wanted to say - I've heard a few people say negative things from time to time about people who post messages like "We've Been Approved!" Like they're making those who haven't yet been approved feel bad. But if it weren't for all those success messages that I read in the beginning of our journey, I don't know if we would have even attempted this. Before coming to VisaJourney I didn't think it was possible to get my fiancee to the US from Pakistan. And I'm not sure I would have even tried. But reading all these "we just got our visa" messages from people who's stories seemed equally impossible, really is what motivated us to try!

You are filing for K1 fiancé visa?
if so, no need to send the entire copy of I129f package, the US embassy (manila) has it.. I had an interview earlier and I saw the entire package (I129f) that my fiancé sent to USCIS.
Just send your Affidavit of support (signed and dated), supporting documents like Form 1040 and W2 (2013 only) and certificate of employment, the letter of intent (signed and dated) and other stuff that can be use as a proof of ongoing relationship.

There is no greater fool than the person who lets other people's comments influence who they marry. One of the most important things for a man to learn is that people say things not because they believe them but to put you down out of jealousy, envy, and spite.
People that said anything negative about my wife being 30 years younger went immediately on my list of people with bad character. The problem is not the age difference between myself and my wife. The problem is with THEM. For saying anything. For thinking they have any right whatsoever to comment on other people's relationships. Inter-racial, gay, age differences - it's all the same idiocy and bad character to judge.
The most moronic thing about it is people actually placing themselves in the position of pretending to protect my wife from me. Hubris isn't strong enough a word for this. What they are proving is that they don't view my wife as fully human. As if she were a imbecile, incapable of making her own decisions in life. I can't think of anything more reprehensible than dismissing how my wife actually feels, and replacing that with their stupid framing.
Do we hear people saying, for same age couples, that she is old enough to be your sister or brother? The only purpose of saying such a thing is to maliciously inject an insinuation of incest. "Old enough to be your father" is smearing you with an incest comment, and "young enough to be his daughter" is a combination of sliming with incest and pedophilia. The person saying such a thing has bad character.
Meeting on the internet? Pffft. So what. Are we in the 18th century? Oh my GOD! I hear people BUY stuff on the internet too. Well, it certainly isn't legitimate to buy stuff online. lol.

why should they be fired? They were doing what they are paid to do, weed out fake relationships. I attended my husband;s interview with him and we were both questioned in depth, neither one of us had a problem with it, it;s part of the immigration process and if your relationship is real there is no reason to be nervous. Pakistan is a high fraud country, not only is it a high fraud country, it;s also crawling with terrorists who would do just about anything to get to the US. As a US citizen you should be happy that the consulate is doing it's job. Would you rather have them not question people and hand out visas to people just because they ask? The fact of the matter is this couple has a non traditional relationship that goes against cultural norms in Pakistan, that is why she was questioned so much. The CO's job is to make sure scammers don't worm their way into the country, and I for one, have no problem with that.

That brought tears to my eyes. Very happy for you both that you were approved after all of that.
Also useful to read all the detail, especially that the COs acknowledged that they were purposefully being mean. Though very sorry that your fiancee was the target of that. Hopefully, their being nice to her afterwards and the approval make up for it somewhat.
Best of luck to you both for the rest of your journey together.
