Are you sponsoring your wife or another family member? Are you the petitioner for your spouse or other family member? If you are the primary petitioner, you are the primary sponsor and need to fill out an I864 (i.e. you are not a joint sponsor). You may need to find a joint sponsor. If this is another family member, and they are going through consulate processing, your wife should also fill out an I864A even if her current income is $0, and especially if you filed taxes jointly. Good Luck!

I would start here. She may need to go to the Sri Lanka consulate in PI, but I am not seeing any alternate documents. Good Luck! https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Visa-Reciprocity-and-Civil-Documents-by-Country/SriLanka.html https://eservices.police.lk/ClearanceCertificate/home.action

Could be just a delay due to the recent holidays. I would give it a day or two, and start inquiring after January 6. Good Luck!

I take back what I said. Honestly, I haven’t really followed the failed Jimmy Carter other than what I saw in the media, and of course most of it was glowing toward him. Apparently, he was quite anti-Semitic, and a bitter loser. Others are say similar things. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14239207/cnn-scott-jennings-jimmy-carter-Israel-abby-phillip.html

I flew this route a few times before Delta/Korean Air opened the direct flight from Detroit cutting two hours off the flight. It was always nice sitting up on the upper deck of the 747 as it was so quiet up there. I noticed Korean Air was also using A380s on this route, but I think those are being phased out as well. The 747 certainly lasted a lot longer than the A380. What is interesting now is Western carriers cannot fly over Russia anymore making these routes less profitable.

Follow the instructions on the I797 as @Family stated. You should not need new photos as long as you have the ones you submitted already. Good Luck!

Hmm, 2020 actually playing out. Why is it when the establishment loses an election, or in this case the pro-Europe regressive types, they refuse to leave. Seems fairly politically petulant to me. Georgia's outgoing president refuses to quit as successor sworn in Outgoing president Salome Zourabichvili refused to step down on Sunday, saying she was the "only legitimate president". Addressing crowds gathered outside, Zourabichvili said she would leave the presidential palace but branded her successor illegitimate. "This building was a symbol only as long as a legitimate president was sitting here," she said. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c0rn2w0zw08o

J2 Visa - US Citizen marrying Au Pair
Dashinka replied to BiscoeBunch's topic in Student & Exchange Visitor Visas
Here is the relevant guide. It is best to become an expert of the required forms (I130/I485/i765/I131, and in particular the I864). Good Luck! -
Write up a Word file stating that this is not applicable, convert it to a PDF and upload it. Good Luck!

Should I file K-1 with low income
Dashinka replied to SafiyeCansuDavy's topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures
I agree, marry and file for a spousal visa. You can do the Utah Zoom wedding now, and get the ball rolling right after that. As to moving your post, I reported it, and a moderator/organizer will move it for you. Good Luck! -
So why do you ask the question as to why passersby’s did nothing? Democrat progressive ideals dictate people should not help, and NYC is ground zero for that. Heck, some guy went on a stabbing spree in several areas of the city, and people, mostly Democrats or others scared of prosecution ignored him.

I-485 Denied
Dashinka replied to WilliamN's topic in Bringing Family Members of US Citizens to America
Yes, you can re-file the I485. Make sure you clear up the I864 issues. As to the medical, you may need a new one, but I am not sure. Good Luck! -
Ahh, more gaslighting from the less and less respected MSM. I do love the bogey man Project 2025. I do love the fact that you have already convicted Gaetz even though good old Merrick Garland found no evidence to proceed with a prosecution. Besides, we already know Gaetz is a scoundrel, he has little to no morals (reminds me of Teddy Kennedy), and he shafted the people of his district by running again, winning by a wide margin, and then immediately resigning. I agree, Trump should have never even considered him, but hey, like most in DC, Trump is a narcissist.

1. Yes, list out the 5 yr history of your official residences. If you did not officially reside (I.e mail was directed to you, or you updated IDs or DLs) then I do not believe you need to list it. 2. Since your current address is in Canada you should be fine, but you can always list that address in your native alphabet. You may also want to list your last official residence in Vietnam here as I believe this is used to help with background checks in your home country. 3. Yes, Montreal. 4. I believe he would have to FOIA to get those records, I am not sure how that works with Canada Border Protection. Good Luck!

I mostly agree with you, but a person can submit the I751 without the final divorce decree requesting a divorce waiver. Timing does not always allow for the final divorce decree to be included with the initial filing. This does not appear to be the case with the OP though, but it is possible. To the OP, I would demand a copy of the package your lawyer initially submitted to verify they included everything, and this is in fact just a USCiS issue. Good Luck!
