Question:

We are filing under the 3 year rule / 90days early. We haven't gotten his ROC approved yet. Should I attach an additional letter to our online application requesting a combo ROC/N400 interview?

Thanks! No, my gc is expiring this year so after years of procrastination I decided to apply for citizenship. Looks like my field office is Overland Park, Kansas.

We're in the same situation! That's reassuring because I read things about the process taking possibly longer for people who have been residents for a long time. That didn't make much sense to me and you're proof that it's not necessarily true. Less than 2 weeks from applying to interview notice is amazing though!

We're on the same page. We've attached a letter stating, 'We're still awaiting approval for ROC,' and we're writing this letter to request a ROC interview waiver or a combo interview. Let's see how it goes.

UPDATE

 

On March 4 interview scheduled for April 18, Philadelphia FO

 

PD: Processing time change again, went from 7 to 4 to 3 and again to 7 months as of today 03-06-24

Hi there!  NYC based, Notice date 2/28. Biometrics 3/11.  3 YR / 90 day. If I’m following correctly, after biometrics were looking at an estimated 3-7 month wait?

My first N400 got denied for no fault of my own, but anyway first time around I applied in NYC. I waited 3 months for an interview. Filed application on 07/01/22 and got an interview for 10/13/22.
