Tried to get it in earlier this month but had a couple of work trips. Just submitted it tonight.

I love seeing fellow Brits on these forums!  Good luck!    I think the process went really fast for me and very smoothly.

(Looking at your timeline I see you took just as long as I did to apply for citizenship lol.  I got here Aug 2010!)

So I noticed in the letter that originals should be brought to the interview of copies were supplied. Some documents are "copies" by default (ie. car contract emailed to us digitally), while others were scanned and shredded (car registration cards). I'm thinking I'll pad with some other original documents for those car docs, as I still have the original renewal notices and a bunch of original car maintenance receipts. Do you guys think I submit these online ahead of time, or just bring them with me to the interview?

Take it with you. I submitted the absolute minimum online.  Nothing more than they asked for.

I took the originals they asked for as well as tax records just because everyone else seemed too.

They didn't ask me for anything at all.

Will do, thanks! Everyone brings their tax returns as well, then? Can definitely print them out but that's a lot of paper, lol.

Hi everyone, I submitted my N400 application on January 14th, New York City office, filling under 90 days/3 year rule.

Jan 14th 2024: Case was received and a receipt notice was sent.

However, I didn't receive biometrics letter nor notification about it, I see some people immediately receive notification about it but I haven’t .
Hopefully it will be a smooth process!

You probably have already, but did you check the documents section of your USCIS account? I didn't think I'd gotten one when I submitted either but found it there when I checked a few days later!

I checked it online as well (under the documents section) but didn't see any other document except the one I have already received in my mailbox (receipt notice).

Working on submitting - so close! a few final questions:

1. Anyone have a cover letter asking for combo interview i could review?

2. Tax return Transcript: I cant seem to find the right URL..Anyone have it handy? We asked for those in 2022 (2021 and 2022) when we were applying in January 2023 for the 751- so it says requesting date 2022. Do I need to re request? We do need to request for 2023

3. Should we also include the 36 ext letter? (instead of just 48?) A

4. my scanner is forcing me to do one pdf side at a time (ex green card one pdf scanned for front, and a new pdf scanned for back) instead of a combined. i assume thats okay? so a unique pdf for front and back of all docs? (gc, ext letter)

Been working in Seattle all week and just got back to Tampa. I honestly wasn't going to bother because of potential tax implications when if/when I move home, but having to pay the FAA every time I want to do something is really annoying, plus some jobs being unavailable to me. I finally decided just to get it done.

I just checked the docs section this morning and noticed I got the reuse doc just after I submitted the application on 30th, thanks for the tip.

Hello Everyone!
I filed Jan 20, 2024 thinking my case was straightforward. But it was not until after I filed. I’m not going to get into more details for now but my case will probably be DENIED. I regret even filing. I’m a green holder of 9 years. My fingerprints were reused and the wait time reduced from 7 month to 4 month est. time. I will keep you all updated.
