Hi everyone

i filed n400 application January 5th but i never received finger prints reuse like you guys did. Do you think what might be the problem. I am worried:(

i am a green card holder married to US citizen

Nothing to worry about ….. I saw people with fingerprints appointment getting interviews right after their biometrics….. stay positive and hope for the best

Hi all, to confirm, my husbands green card expiration date is march 23, 2022 - so we are okay to apply for citizenship this month right? i am the american citizen and we have been married since march 2020.

Additionally, we created an account and we cant find the USCIS online account number. there is no profile page or anything anywhere. i doubt you have to have it to apply for citizenship but it would be nice.

Just applied yesterday (online) under 3y rule.

Received the NOA within 15 minutes but not biometrics reuse. Apparently I’ll have to go to get them done.

Estimated time 8 months.

Still neither biometrics reuse nor biometric appointment. It’s been 3 weeks.

And estimated time was 8 months and now it has disappeared 😕

Filled out the online application and added all the PDFs for evidence, much nicer than AOS or ROC processes!

Waiting for a review and I'll be paying and filling it early next week. Looking forward to never having to do immigration paperwork ever again.

Became eligible first week January through 3 year marriage rule, ROC has been filed for a year now and hasn't gone past Case received.

Filed today, used the online system and kept the evidence strong but minimal - 3 years of tax transcripts, 3 bills, driver licenses, 2023 end of year joint account statement, insurances and house assessment from the city. All of these have the same address for me and the US citizen and prove financial co-mingling in my eyes, I mean married filing jointly for 3 years is enough right? Anyways, I know there's the school of thought to throw the kitchen sink and I have done so both for AOS and ROC, this time I stuck to what was required only.

As additional evidence I added 10 photos with captions in a pdf, request for combo interview and I-751 NOA. My case is textbook and has no complications so I am not expecting issues, maybe if the officer wants 2021-2023 evidence they can look at my I-751! Wouldn't that be convenient? 🤣

Good luck to us all and I hope to not see anyone posting here next year!!

These are the kind of applications that they love lol. The ones that are sufficient and not with a bunch of documents. You’ll be processed fast.

Hey all!

I filed for N400 Jan 14 online and today I received a notification that my interview was scheduled for Feb 27. But nothing on my pending I-765, which is making me wonder if I need to notify USCIS to request a combined interview...any thoughts? I filed after having my green card for 3 years on the basis of a US spouse.

Thanks so much!

Yeah you'll be fine then! I think most folks apply 90 days early and therefore have to wait ~90 days for the interview date so that it's after their 3yr anniversary.
