We got our NOA for our AOS on Sept 6th. I guess I probably need to go to the July filer. Not that it matters. We all are in this together.

We haven't received the biometrics appointment for the AOS yet. Only the NOA1 notice which was dated August 31. The biometrics he had last month was for his EAD which we filed seperately.

Congrats everyone who's had movement on their case! Yay! :dance:

Yesterday I received a notice in the mail telling me that our application has been transferred! I don't know whether this is a good thing or a bad thing LOL.

MrsAyilliath Could I please have some more information so I can update the time line? I would like the notice date on your NOA1 and the date you had your biometrics appointment please. MrsAyilliath, are you sure you'll have to have your biometrics done again as my biometrics was for both EAD (still yet to receive it like you) and my AOS. Look at your biometrics appointment letter to see if there are two case types written on there and two bar codes representing the EAD and the AOS. It is my understanding that you'll only have to go to do the bios once :) Anyway, thought I'd get you to check it out. Best of luck! :thumbs:

I can wish you good luck for that although I wasnt as lucky and got a RFE for it on friday..sigh :( Its so annoying as the form just asks for tax returns :((

You might not get an interview if you get transfered to CSC, but you'll have to wait a little bit to find out about that. Check the timelines in your local office to see how fast it usually is to get the interview (the dates vary with the local offices, some are more busy than others).

08.2006: Entered with a B-2 visa.

07.06.07: Civil Wedding

07.17.2008 AOS approved with interview. It took 367 Days!

11.08.08: Big family wedding

09.18.09-10.03.09: First trip to France with Hubby

Hey August Filers,

I have a query. My application AOS application was postmarked the 28th of July but I just received rejection notice from Chicago saying that I had sent insufficient funds and that I should send the new fee. It shows on the rejection notice that they received it on the 30th of July. Please provide clarification as to whether this is correct. I thought that as long as your application was postmarked before the 30th then the old fee would be acceptable. Has anyone else experienced something similar? or did some people whose applications were received on or after the 30th not get asked to pay the new fee.
