Emergency travel but still waiting for my green card

Sorry I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post it in but it's an urgent question. I've been in the US for a month now on a spouse visa and today I need to travel back to the UK for an emergency. I still haven't received my green card yet but I have the temporary i-551 on my visa which is in my passport. Does that mean I can return to the US without any issue?

Thanks for your help.

Yes,  If your visa has the endorsement stamp, you are good to go.

Yes, the stamp acts as your green card until you receive the physical one.

Legally yes. In practice some airlines are clueless. If you have a plan B that routes you through Ireland, Canada, or Mexico, you will be fine for sure.

Yes, as long as you return within a year of getting the stamp.  For extra assurance in case you encounter clueless airline check-in staff, bring a print-out of page 32 of CBP's Carrier Information Guide when you travel -- https://www.cbp.gov/sites/default/files/assets/documents/2019-Mar/2019 Carrier Information Guide - ENGLISH.pdf
