From what I have seen around VJ, the size of the package can depend a lot on the bank statements and tax returns. If you send all bank statements (for every month), that can easily be over 100 pages right there. For our packet, bank statements totaled over 150 pages. Then, some people choose to send tax returns + schedules instead of tax transcripts, which can also be quite lengthy depending on the tax situation. We sent transcripts so that was only a small portion of our packet but we still had around ~500 pages of documentation total.

That makes sense as well as the previous post about credit card statements.  We didn't have those.  And since we were to include all sheets it could easily be 10 sheets per month for each and if one did every month that could really drive up the count.  Personally I saw no reason to do every consecutive month.  Nothing specific would happen in a two month gap that would cause concern by the agent if the third one in line still showed continutiy and made sense.  But that may be me "under simplifying" things.

You can probably get away with just tax transcripts not the actual filings.

Hi! I plan on sending my ROC packet this week, but have a question: is it recommended to highlight (with a yellow highlighter) both of our names for the house deed, joint account bank statements, insurance? Mostly to evidence we're both on the same documents.

Also, I've been a graduate student since filing AOS, so I have my own health insurance, but nowhere in the application I mention this. Should I?

Thanks!

Regarding my 5 lbs of tree waste.....yes, almost 200 pgs was showing statements for a checking and savings account....every statement.  The rest  of the majority was quarterly electric bills and quarterly credit card statements.  Of course I included other things such as insurances and beneficiary designation pages, photos, tax transcripts etc etc.  It's absolutely ridiculous, in all honesty.

Sent my I-751 package last week. Hoping to get some response this week.

Jan 12, 2023 : Sent the ROC packet via USPS

Jan 14, 2023 : USPS delivered to the USCIS Phoenix lockbox address

Long weekend might be slowing things this week. The wait to get a receipt number is too much to ignore.

I-751 Timeline:

Jan 12, 2022 : Sent I-751 application package via USPS

Jan 14, 2022 : Delivered to USCIS Phoenix lockbox

We highlighted different parts of evidence but I remember reading to make sure you do not make any highlights on the actual forms.

I think its safe to assume the USCIS officers have come across these type of documents before and know what theyre looking for without guidance.

Yes all the files are scanned and some highlighting can make parts more difficult to read.

Alright, NOA letter in hand dated as received January 9, NOA dated as January 10. So them receiving it to me getting the extension letter was exactly 8 days after they received my package (also including a holiday for MLK day).

I’m going on 17 days since they received my package still no text or mail 😢

Can take up to 6 weeks.

Remember USCIS don't work on public holidays and Sundays (I think they work on Saturdays, though not 100% sure). This month had at 2 public holidays and 2 Sundays so far.
